Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.

If you haven't seen already , Look up PVC Ram pump . Easy to build and you can make them in different sizes , No electricity , No gas and No bucketing water and will run all day .Might be good for high bankers. Great for river sluice but may not work for all rivers . You could do a video on parts list and build.

Cris, I'm curious...have you tried spraying your sluice with soapy water before turning on the water? Air bubbles are caused by surface tension between the water and the dry surfaces, soap breaks that surface tension, especially if you are using soap in your clean up water too, so pre-spraying with soapy water *might* stop the majority of air bubbles from forming in the first place. I don't have the set-up to test this (nor the concentrates to clean), it's only a theory on my part when thinking about what causes those air bubbles. I'm honestly kinda curious myself if it would work. If ya give it a try please tell me if I was right. Always love your vids.

I use the V mat squares with adhesive backing from Bunnings on the sluice flare , cut to fit & seal the edges with gorilla tape, it actually holds a lot of my small gold. Could place the black tub over the bottom of the sluice before you pick it up. What's the feed rate of that sluice compared to something with riffles & can the cell style run with less water than riffles?

He's done a video on this with a nugget to demonstrate the heavies are still in suction when it's brought to a pan I think it's was two metres between the suction spot and the pan before the heavies started to drop out.
