the reality of the situation is these were 2 kids, 18 and 16, who honestly just fucked up in their relationship. they both hurt each other in the relationship, after the relationship and during and after that drama. the media took it and made it into something way more serious than it ever needed to be. the way they treated each other was never okay. while her song is unreleased she also has a song where she took accountability too. they’re grown now. 19 and 21 he’s about to be 22. so much healing and growth. he said he started this song about 2-3 years ago and decided to go back to it and finish it. so assuming it’s about her i mean i think it’s needed. he’s sang about how she hurt him, how he let himself get hurt and also has taken accountability in several songs like set me free. a lot of ppl don’t like this song bc of the lack of production but i really love getting to hear his voice. it’s so calming and when u need to cry it’s perfect. sometimes i get tired of all the production on songs and can get kinda tired of music but this song is perfect for when i’m in the mood for something that’s just soft. it’s just him and a guitar and honesty which is key. i just hope one day to see her take accountability. if the cheating is true yk she hurt him as well. even without that the drama and putting him through hell as well and not even just him but another person. one can hope she’ll grow and look back and realize she could’ve did more. i think the song was sweet. this and wylmn seem to be (possibly) about her and i don’t think that means he’s still in love with her or anything i think it’s just reflection. regardless of who it’s about i think this song as an album track is perfect. not sure why it’s a single his team is just awful lol BUT nonetheless i still love it. i also like how unique this song is. it’s not a song where it feels like he’s trying to get a hit which his music never feels like that. it feels like one he felt he needed to put out for himself and i love that. i also think the stan’s need to stop fighting about who was in the wrong and realize they both were and they both need to take accountability.
