Besides the waders and all that kinda get in the way, though I'm told there are those for whom such gear adds to the experience... Anyway, the fact that you decided not to diversify into videos of _that_ nature is something that I think we ought to all be _deeply_ grateful for! OK, OK, you can say I have a tawdry sense of humour, but _C'MON!!_ The door was _WIDE OPEN!_ Fair play to your other commenters, they should be commended for their restraint in not going there! I'm not here _just_ for the schoolboy humour though - I wanted to applaud your playing of that first piece and thank you for introducing me to it (Primavera). Hi my friend great to hear from you. What you said is exactly true When you get home you can have a shower get into a warm bed make a hot water bottle etc. When your up in the mountains camping your out in the elements for the weekend and it's hard to keep warm its tough up there is this freezing weather we've been having. Plus I'm getting soft I'm turning into a big jelly fish LOL. I'M GETTING OLD. But there's still life in the old dog. More videos to come when the weather improves. LOL. Great to be missed. Thanks a lot for your lovely comment it has made my day. I've long covid. Its knocked me for 6. I'm holding down my job but literally it's straight into bed when I finish work exhausted totally exhausted. No matter how much sleep i get i wake up with the feeling of a very bad hangover. The doctor said there's nothing she can do for me. I've started taking vitamin d and that's definitely helping. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. The weather has been very bad this year also. But its looking good at the weekend so please God I'll get away this weekend and that will be the start of me making videos again. I miss the whole experience i enjoy making the videos. Please God I'm on the mend. 😊 you can't kill a bad thing. LOL.😂😂😂

Great video mate. That looked cold work where you were and that packed lunch was almost domestic abuse! At least the Tunnocks tea cake looked nice! It's still early days. I've just come back from a week on the River Tay in Scotland. I tried and tried for a Springer but not even a pull! I don't think anyone connected with anything the whole week on the river. It's nice to get out though. Not long now before we're pulling them out left, right, and center...hopefully!

I remember the days pulling them out. 23 was my best February as far as i can remember. They were big spring fish. The good old days no tags blue or brown and i had a very fat pet cat. LOL. It's not bad at all for you and a few slices with a nice cuppa is great when you're out fishing! A bit of honey on the top too!

Good to see you again my friend from across the big pond. Regarding the place you were fishing by the bridge, what kind of fish would you expect to catch there, and are they edible?

Hi Mark thanks for watching. The water is sea water, that bridge is next to the open ocean. I used fish there years ago with bait ( lug worms and crabs) I'd catch beautiful flatfish and cod. In May the seabass arrive plus mackerel pollock in the summer you always have big mullet to catch but me personally i wouldn't eat them. There's plenty of edible fish swimming under the bridge. When there's fish around the seals around too. They come very close to you when your fishing they make me nervous when they bump against you when you wading. LOL. The last big was a joke. Hope that answers your question.

2:26 Just catching up on your vid now as we were away in Seville for a few days to attend a Cirque du Soleil ‘Luzia’ show which was spectacular. Soon the sun will be streaming down warming up the lakes and your old bones and you will begin to taw out after your winter hibernation. Have a great season and enjoy the fishing and scenery.
