"I'm Still Here" is a portrayal of a tumultuous year in the life of actor Joaquin Phoenix. With remarkable access, the documentary follows the Oscar-nominee as he announces his retirement from a successful film career in the fall of 2008 and sets off to reinvent himself as a hip hop musician. Dicen que en éste "documental" se lo ve consumiendo sustancias... Sabemos que es un actor del método pero ¿Llegó realmente a consumir sólo para que lo filmaran? O sería otra cosa? Algo falso como en las películas... Es que si consumió cocaína es muy difícil que alguien la pueda dejar así de fácil y aparecer después en tv como si nada,sin ningún indicio de haber consumido... Realmente espero no haya puesto su salud en riesgo,eso es muy peligroso,las sustancias que provocan adicción no son juego. Si no tengo entendido mal, después de éste "documental" hizo In The Line y ahí tuvo q ir a recuperación y grupos AA porque notó que tenía un problema con el alcohol,lo escuché decir que sentía que el alcohol llenaba el vacío que sentía 😢... Siempre ha sido una persona centrada y no caído en lo relacionado a los abusos de alcohol y drogas pero lleva mucho por dentro y tal vez ésta vez su punto de quiebre y luego quisieron presentarlo como todo actuado y guionado pero la expresión de sus ojos en 1:15 y más reflejan dolor...como casi siempre

It’s shocking how many people don’t understand what “I’m still here” is about. Joaquin and Casey wanted to make a mockumentary about reality Tv .. Everyone believes reality tv is so real. So They decided to start pretending to make reality tv. And yet again the public fell for reality tv being real. This is all acting. No one knew that Joaquin and Casey were acting. That was the whole point.
