You are an awesome father Justin, Jonah is amazing young man, he doesn’t say much unless you stroke the conversation. He works so hard on the farm, does a great job with ask the animals, he knows so much on how to do things to be his age. He can build anything, he can wield and knows how to hook up electric fences. Back when I was his age, I had three older brothers so they got to learn everything, I was the youngest and was always told I was too young. So driving the tractor or the farm truck was out of the question had to learn that later in life. Enjoy your time Jonah with your dad, and never be afraid to ask him anything or tell him anything.

The utube channel really opened up so much of the world to you and your family. I am so happy that you have been able to do this and experience so much. Hard work and good values have taken you so far. Congratulations on that. What you and the beautiful one have done with your children is astounding! The way the children have grown and the responsibility they take on and the adults they will become is so huge! That is completely you and the beautiful one I have been blessed to watch this almost from the beginning. I wish I had the courage to have done something like that with my own children. Thank you for showing the world they can farm and raise healthy and well adapted children at the same time without government interference!

What a wonderful idea to take your son on a trip where the two of you can bond. It is important no matter how many children you have that each of them get quality time and they feel you have your undivided attention!! It is very hard when you come from a family of multiple children and especially when you live on a farm and there’s constant work to do particularly through the spring through fall months when everything is about gardening and produce and harvest and baby animals and getting them fattened up and ready for sale or breeding…… And it isn’t until winter time that you actually get a little bit of a rest and then the weather doesn’t exactly cooperate for you to have and Any Opportunity to spend with your parent or child!! This was a wonderful video and I am so glad you took out time to visit with your son and let him know that you were there for him and he could talk to you and trust you. More parents need to have time like that and it doesn’t have to involve necessarily spending Lots of money… you can also go on a camping trip and have picnics and hiking and save money that way but go to a beautiful area that they’ve never been. Every state has beautiful zoos and hiking areas and scenery that many of us have never been to and many points of interest in historical areas and definitely fun for all ages of children. I live in the Midwest and I have lived in three States but driven to six states around me in order for my children to see and tour many unique areas of those states. 100 to 250 miles it’s not too much to do in a days time and your children feel like they have done something wonderful. I remember when I took my children to Oklahoma City and there was so much to do we could not do it all in a weekend but we hit the highlights of water boats & slides, multiple types of museums, great food including their favorites, the zoo of course etc. and we were all so tired by the time we got home everybody was very excited about the trip and it was a long enough trip home that we had lots to talk about. Several years later my son when he was a senior and we talked about private senior trip just him and I, and I I asked him where he thought he’d like to go he picked Oklahoma City again. My daughter on the other hand picked Minnesota because she wanted to see the three-story mall. And although there was launched by there we decided not to spend a lot of money but rather look for something super special that she could have the rest of her life which I was so proud of her that she found a Ballerina bronze by an artist that to this day I would love to have it myself! These trips you have with your children Can be a foundation for your values for the rest of their life and memories definitely for the rest of their life. This is a wonderful example and I encourage everyone saying this video to take time for your children. God bless you all who Are parents & want to take the extra mile and take time for that one on one trip with her child as they grow!!

I agree that he has been a giver to the family far more than a taker. He truly is an amazing young man. You are very blessed to have a son with this much maturity and character. You have great goals for this trip. I am so impressed. I do have a question about the car. At the end of the trip, could you crunch the numbers and tell us how the electric “fuel “ compares with gasoline and with diesel price per mile wise? In my mind most of our electric power comes from coal, natural gas and oil power plants and every time you convert one thing to another, the price goes up, and you also produce a waste product like carbon. So logically an electric car should cost more money to run. I do understand that there are other factors in the bigger picture, like the cool factor and global warming and other environmental issues. Plus on the negative side, there is also the time issue of having to wait 30 minutes to do a full charge as opposed to 10 minutes at a gas station which includes a bathroom break. (Not counting at home charging) On a much larger scale, I am wondering if most of the country converts to electric vehicles, which is the Government long term plan, there will be about a 20 minute/week/ driver loss in productivity time. Plus all of that “fuel” energy will have to come from the power plants which have their own carbon footprint. They already now have a much bigger footprint since we changed from US processed oil, coal and gas which was the cleanest in the world to shipped fuel from other countries, which was much much dirtier. If those same power plants have to provide all of the extra energy for cars, nation wide, won’t that add immensely to the carbon footprint of our nation? I don’t have the answers to my questions yet, but after the last year and a half with the gas price fiasco, I don’t think that the government people have thought this all of the way through either. Since we are all being effected so much already and we are being asked to make future sacrifices, shouldn’t we be asking these questions now, to see if this over all plan is actually going to work and at what price? It seems like our standard of living is shrinking every day. I know that so far, for me, as a person on Social Security, my standard of living has been reduced to the bone and I am no longer able to do anything that brings me any joy. So I am wondering if all of the trade offs are going to balance out in the end. Or will we all be living in the “just barely surviving mode”???

I still agree with what Justin said in a video awhile back. "Elon make a tractor" lol it is truly an un-tapped market. Most folks try to do things more organically for themselves, families, and land. Yet most of the equipment on market is anything but environmental friendly. I have yet to see a travtor or anything like it that doesn't use gas 🌎🚜🌱

For some of your audience, it may be important to stress that the taking/giving lesson is not necessarily a gendered one. Children, not just boys, are often receivers/takers of time and attention. When people are children (not just boys), they often have the viewpoint that the world revolves around them. Adults (not just men) are often givers, because we have learned that each person (no gender) is valuable and worthy of support and respect. Jonah is a magnificent young man. It has been an honor and joy to see him grow within your family!
