I finally hired an apprentice! Trevor worked with me every summer while he was in high school. Now that he has graduated, he is coming on full time. Let the HVAC training begin!! Also, I have a couple updates for you with my work truck setup. Getting the hvac enclosed trailer setup for installs and the 2500hd Duramax setup for service calls. Hope you enjoy the video!!

1. Be on time for your shifts. This is extremely important in the hvac industry. 2. Be prepared to work hard. Hvac work can be physically demanding. 3. Be willing to learn. The hvac trade is full of complex terminology and procedures. 4. Ask questions if you don't understand something. There is no such thing as a dumb question in the hvac trade. 5. Stay safe.

Zach I run a small operation and I rolled my truck with almost the exact same setup. Caps on the right & misc tools on the left. I wish I would have thought about the plywood slide. Thanks for sharing. Going to try that out myself. Dig the trailer too.

I have been watching your channel as well as some others in USA. I'm from Western Australia and a HVAC technician (retired). Of all of the tech's I watch on USA KZbin you are a big stand out amongst the rest with your workmanship and professionalism. I know that there is a big difference in training between the two countries, here it is a three year tafe college and on the job training (1 day a week training or 2 blocks of a week at tafe) the rest on the job then another 12 months on the job. On completing your apprenticeship you have to sit for your electrical license and refrigeration handling license to be fully qualified. I don't know what it is like over there but looking at some of the channels they wouldn't be able to lift a screwdriver here. Keep up the good work and glad to see you are doing a great job for the trade

Awesome set up. I would go one step further and use a rubber strap to go over the metal bottles in the back of your truck. You definitely do not want them to turn into flying torpedoes if for some unknown reason you are involved in a fender bender. You have put a lot of time and effort in your business to succeed. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Ben couldn't have said it any better. Keep up the great work!

You’re ahead of the curve. All those tools-need to start having Milwaukee mounts for secure mounting. Love your set up. Having the shopvac secure on that (or in a van) plywood….wouldn’t it be great if you could start mounting other peoples stuff to those mounts. Veto has to be cringing that you went to an M bag. Maybe a veto & Milwaukee joint venture Love your set up.

Hello, How would you calculate a mobile home split system with an inside down flow air handler 3 ton . No return . The Mobile home is 16X80 single wide with 8 vents total. The original duct is the rectangular sheet metal, and it is degrading. The mobile home is 1999 model . The local supply shops do not have the sheet metal available & I am considering using Flex duct & I am not sure what size or may I even use flex duct in replacing the sheet metal . Thank you
