This is all I use. $50 to restock gas and oxygen. Enough to do 3-4 jobs. More than pays for itself. I do 7/8’s with this kit ALL the time. Thanks Zach!

SUPER DISAPPOINTED... : ( you started right but then you did what I would expect any Shady Pseudo-Repair Guy do... do the "cheap" and "easy way"... May I suggest, if you are going to do a KZbin Video... at the VERY LEAST, do it right on the camera!!! I'm sorry but around 6:45min, you are taping back into "place" a duct work OVER LOOSE DUCT TAPE THAT FAILED IN THE FIRST PLACE!? WHO IS WHY YOU GOT HIRED FOR THE JOB!!? ... how long do you thing this will stick??? I'm sorry, I don't think you would be the person I hire for my jobs... I would at the VERY LEAST, expect you to pull that tape that failed in the first place BEFORE you put the "good tape" to fix things... now, my best guess is that this duct will fall off BECAUSE you put tape on a piece that failed in the first place... sorry again, not someone I want to follow... I am not looking for someone that have "friend" giving me "thumbs up" and "good comments" because they are friends... I'm looking for the people that does "it right the first time", not someone that use the "right stuff" and do it "wrong"... How long do you think your "repair" will last?? I will guess not much! maybe you should revise your "work ethic" before you put it on KZbin... and don't "tell me" you missed something... kind of obvious unless you thing I'm Stupid! (SMH)

Great video. The only thing I would have done diffrntly, is to disconnect bad motor b4 leaving 1st time, just in case its not gonna overheat and cause entire unit to go down. When motor is locked, and still in circuit, it could cause issues. Other then that, great video and big fan!

Is it possible to flow too much solder into the joint? Like to where it pulls it past the joint and introduces pieces of solder into the system? Or will any solder that flows in past the joint stick to the walls of the pipe?

Hey man, I’ve been watching a lot of your videos about HVAC. I have been contemplating if I should switch my career. I’ve been trucking for 7 years. I’m looking to go to a trade school for HVAC. Can you tell me what your suggestion would be in my situation?

I am an HVAC instructor at a High School. Just showed this video to a Freshman class that has not yet chosen what shop they want to be in. This was a great real world example of what it is like to work in the HVAC field instead of some old man telling war stories of his time in the field (I am the old man). Thanks for what you do! and Thanks to those that posted comments. We read a lot of them and it gives a great perspective for a 14 yr old trying to plan life.

I’ve replaced my regular torches for this set . And the regular tip can braze everything with tremendous amount of heat . I used I to replace a compressor in a chiller with no trouble . Downside is the brazing time due to small oxy bottles . I keep 3 refill all the time . Great video Zack . Turbo torch won’t give you the flame 🔥 that this oxy mapp produces.

This looks great for when I have to walk a mile to work on Target or the Mall. However, I don't see the benefit over the TurboTorch Ace/Air kit. This Ambro deal looks as expensive as a full oxy/ace set too. If it were $200, that would be worth it.

Not the lightest or smallest. Straight acetylene with a turbo torch kit is the smallest and lightest.

Thanks for the review. I do home remodeling, and I need a variety of tools and also compact to go in and out of jobs. That middle plastic container and all those pockets seem very well thought out, seems like you can fit a drill and maybe a small charger in between, and a bunch of tools in side pockets, but very compact. I might try it.
