Much respect...its not easy to own a successful business. I wouldn't know, as I've never done it. I do understand what you go through. Its not easy, and lots of challenges. Cheers to many more successful years

Great tips and information! I’m going into year two of running my hvac business. Last year I did hire an accountant (best decision) and a crm (HCP) in spring time, which at the time I didn’t think I needed but as time went along I saw the benefits. I didn’t hire someone to answer my calls last year, when in reality it would have been better if I did have an ai software or person to answer those calls (missed opportunity) for me. Efficiency is key when starting out. I will be hiring a person and or ai service to answer my calls this year moving forward. Still so much to learn, but dang I love the journey of becoming the best version of myself. Thanks for showing others like us how you are doing it!

The company where I was the lead tech closed a year ago. I started my own company. The old owner even gave me a good deal on his personal service truck. I made money, taking over three previous clients. ALL commercial work...no CRM needed. The rest is third party stuff. I expect to double my work this year.

Thank you sir great video. I started as a one-man show in 2018. I started doing air-conditioning and refrigeration work in 2007. The toughest thing that I’ve done is under price my work. A friend and I just branched out and we’re focusing on doing work for corporations. It’s been eye-opening to see what they’re willing to pay for set jobs like lower motor install. Simple compressor installs. Help me realize my pricing needs to be adjusted. I completely respect how organized your work is, including your van.

Ive learned a lot from you and your videos. And i agree with molding your business the way i want it not like a cookie cutter hvac business. I will offer no after hours calls, no emergency calls. My family time is more important. My official start date on my business is September 1st of 2025. And i hope to be a successful as you and your business is. Thanks for the videos and advice

Hello Zac, I do not know what happened but I could not activate the subtitles to Spanish, change the ideome in the configurations of Yotube, changing your voice to be able to listen to it in Spanish, great contribution I think that if previously someone had already gone to diagnose that equipment time ago and manipulate badly at the moment of carrying out refrigerant gas load could not have put air into the system and leave non-condensable gases that over time would react with the oil and prove that the valve of Does expansion stick? I send you a strong friend hug from Mexico and I wish that your channel continues to grow you always learn something new with you. I am Cesar I hope the translation goes well and you can understand what I meant!!! 😅

Congratulations on 13 years and I wish you many more. I also own my HVAC business for 6 years. I am a single guy with 2 trucks. I have a wife and two kids that I am putting through college so I work a 7am-3pm full time and run my business during nights and weekends. When it comes to installs, I hire help. It is a huge leap of faith for someone to start something with no backup plan. I am still learning the business side of it and have a lot of struggles with that. I do enjoy yours and Ted’s videos. Keep them going. Also, I do fully agree with you, when you take your eyes off yourself and ask God how can I be a disciple for his kingdom, it changes your entire outlook.
