Eddie was the king of the fast shuffle, and Stevie Ray Vaughan was the king of the slow(er) shuffle. When I play Pride and Joy- it’s hard to describe, but that shuffle rhythm kind of puts me into a trance.

Eddie was the ORIGINAL GASLIGHTER. He told more fibs than truth when it came to his tone. I don't blame him a bit. It was his tone and he wanted you to have your own.

What's up Marty? Nice glasses. The hardest thing about glasses is just getting used to wearing them. I got a strap on mine to keep them from falling off and so I don't have to keep adjusting them like your doing, lol. Try it. Good lesson, kinda missed your EVH lessons, thanks.

@@Ranch5150SkinWalker We all need them at some time in our life. You should add the transition for your glasses and they look like sunglasses outside. I think its about $100 more unless your insurance covers it. I have Bifocals too. Keep rocking Marty.

Eddie is probably better known for his incredible lead playing but anyone thst knows anything abour Eddie (i.e. guitar players) know that his rhythm game was just as good if not better. The man just had skills, and rhythm in truck loads. I've also noticed if you're not careful you nay find yourself just playing it as a group of 4 without the swing. Gotta lock in that soul and go eith it lol. No ya sure can't, plus the old lady doesn't gripe about t shirts so much. Unexpected guitar purchases like my Wolfgang Special on the other hand... 🤣🤣🤣

Been working on this one for a while with my Kramer 84 the swing thing is really tough to get down the rest is doable of course that fast pentatonic riff is hard to and the solo well that's another story cool vid Marty 👍

I got an excellent deal. $1,200 out the door with hardshell EVH case, EVH leather strap and EVH gig bag she threw in. 4 year warranty. Brand new out of the box, I watched them check it out and set it up. I gave it a test drive and really liked it. Sounds excellent. I tried the Kramer but liked the neck on this one a little better myself. She even threw in a pack of EVH strings. She did all of this since I had cash. Thanks @Marty5150

Hey Marty dont know if you have checked out those tape interviews from Tone chaser Edward in 1979 man those are something else Eds playing Steves 61 strat through a pugnose amp going over songs from Women and Children first its really something else getting into Ed's mind at the time highly recommended to anyone who is a fan check it out 👍
