Lynx point doesnt really exist it is just another fancy name for black tabby point being used for just a small amount of breeds with the point gene. See it as a marketing strategy so they can sell those true breeds for more amount of money. The name black tabby point comes from the underlying gene of colour beneath the pattern and the additional gene of point pattern on the fur. There can be red tabby points with a red fur colour at the spots, creme tabby point with a diluted red gene, black tabby point and silver, blue or lilac tabby point with a diluted black gene. All of them can appear solid, as tabby and with or without white. Fun fact for point kitten to appear both parents need to have the point gene and as it is a recessive gene the dad of those kittens have to be a cat with this gene as well.

(Pls like so he sees this) If you do give a kitten away please wait until after the kitten is 10-13 weeks old before separating it from its mom, or give two kittens at a time. socialization happens during this time, they essentially learn “how to cat” by learning to hunt, bite, scratch with the other litter mates. If you give them away before this stage by themself they won’t know how hard they’re biting/scratching and what the difference between play vs hunt. This is super dangerous when involving kids. They also learn a lot from their mom. And that cat will never be able to learn this later in life and with humans. I’ve seen this through personal experience.

Hi Joey! I have some info to share on your foster cat & the "white" kitten: Momma looks like she could be any of the following coloration's of Siamese (possibly - not 100% positive, though) ~ Caramel or Cinnamon or Lilac Tabby/Lynx Siamese (google them LoL). Momma definitely has some amount of Siamese due to the fact she has blue eyes, a kink at the end of her tail, & mildly crossed eyes (all common trades in Siamese). The "white" kitten is starting to resemble a Lilac Point Siamese (check her tail for a kink near the end). Also, I wanted to suggest some Greek Goddess names for Momma & the babies: FOR MOMMA - Hera (the Queen of all gods/goddesses) ,Atremis (the Huntress), FOR BLACK kitten - NYX (goddess of Night), Eos (goddess of the Dawn), Selene (goddess of the Moon), Astarea (Star Maiden goddess), Iris (goddess of Rainbow). :)

The little white one will get darker over time. Cats with the point gene are born totally white and develop their darker spots on the face, tail and paws later. They also have all blue eyes. This little one seems to be a blue tabby point so it will get grey stripes as markings.

She's Half ragdoll and the other half came from her dad who is a stray so we aren't sure exactly what breed he is. But she's grown a lot and she's very playful

Athena! We were going to do all Greek names for our cats we named our oldest Chloe then our boy Zeus but after adopting 3 strays we fell in love with similar names of Bailie, Callie, and Lillie ❤️
