Couldn't help but cry at the last part because as someone who sees her worth by how busy she is, I am currently feeling useless because I decided to resign from my job to take a rest because of how my previous job affected my physical and mental health. I am thankful I came across this, thank you for the beautiful reminder that there is more to gain than to lose when we decide to care of our selves by taking our time to rest.

pag open ko nag youtube tonight nakita ko tong vlog nato. and kanina talagang umiiyak ako kasi i feel depress, exhausted sa work and also sa family. pasan na pasan ang buong mundo. while watching the vlog napaiyak talaga ako. the value of rest is really important. and also making time with the Lord. sometimes I really forgot doing my devotion kasi sobrang tired na after work but then as i reflect, yung time na nag devotion & pray ako talaga nman nabawasan yung bigat na pasanin ko.

Thank you Ate Rica on your newest vlog. For the past 3 months I'm still on depression due that I had my second miscarriage. Often times wala akong gana sa kahit na anong bagay sobrang depression ang dinadanas ko, sobrang bugnot, lungkot, parang wala akong joy sa kahit anong meron sa paligid ko. Kaya lagi ako nanonood ng vlog mo Ate at inaabangan ko talaga every weekend also your podcast on Spotify. God is with us! 💝💝💝

Cried at the "meaning of rest" part. 💔 Though it's the opposite. I have been struggling with indolence and idleness for quite some time so that part of the video really got me. I felt like every time I am idle, I am resting but I realized that it is just my way to avoid doing any thing. It made me realize that this "rest" I am having is not rest at all, I am just being a slave of indolence. Just like what you said about sugar and work. Enough amount of it is fine but too much will cause a problem, same goes with being idle. I pray for the time I am free from being a slave of pointless rest.

I like the contents of Ms Rica's channel. It makes me realized a lot of things. Before, I worked Mondays to Saturdays and during Sundays I do all the household works. I felt so restless. 4 years have passed before I decided to stop working and give myself the time it needed. Scarred at the beginning, but I know God is with me and I know its Him who whispered to me to stop all of it. I have another job now where I can only get to work for 5 days and I have 2 days for myself to do the things I like. And that 2 days, I can simply rest my mind away from work. It hits me hard when Ms. Rica said that God frees us from what enslaves us so we can actually rest. ❤️

Dearest Rica, thank you for the wise words, I am on the way for work, night shift, I worked in a very pressured area, and there are many times I think that i made a worst mistake of coming abroad and worked for the foreigners. I find myself unmotivated, lack or enthusiasm and wishing I could have worked somewhere else. I just came back from 3 day break after 3 duty nights, yet I still feel exhausted even though its going to be 1 night only and tomorrow I will be sleeping all day. This exhaustion from lack of motivation is creeping in me and I was looking for a source of inspiration. Thank you Ms. Rica for sharing this to us. Most of us might not be aware of the true meaning of rest but through this video I realized that I must find what makes me wholeheartedly happy. At this young age I needed to work while studying. I must say that it was really exhausting job to the point that my body was already giving up. I thought being a crew in a fast food while being a student assistant and being just a student was an easy task, that I can do all that in within every single day. Until I found myself unhappy and extremely tired. There were times that my surrounding is silent yet my mind is still not at peace. As the pandemic comes, it doubled the stress, but we have to cope up for us to survive. Anyway what's important is having some pauses in our lives, to regain happiness, to be at peace again and to know yourself again. Always remember why you started.

I’m beyond grateful na nakita ko tong video just in time of my emotional bouts. I felt almost exhausted dahil sa work ko as nurse ofw. I just had my whole afternoon of so-called ‘rest’. I went to the beach for a swim and stayed there until night just to lie-down on the sand, did stretching, listened to mellow music, had an icecream and time of reflection.. i felt to full-filled today. Though I’m feeling the body pains afterwards, but yung joy ang nanaig sa puso ko. Thank you ms Rica. Now all those times na my heart seemed like screaming for a quick break from work and thinking , ngaun alam ko valid pala lahat yun. Minsan naiisip ko na sayang ang pera, ipunin ko nalang.. but it’s not right. I feel so sorry for exhausting my body unjustly.

I admit that I do exhaust my everything for work and I always felt guilty when I am "resting". Thank you for this Rica. This is such an eye opener for someone who feels as if taking a day rest is a wasted time to earn more.
