It's so annoying how parents "punish" the responsible children. It's weird how the children who are not responsible get all the attention, are supported unconditionally, given a great deal of affection and can pretty much do what they want. Then, the parents' excuse in this type of situation tend to go something like... "Well, your sibling needs me. You can take care of yourself and so I don't worry about you." Hello... the responsible one needs just as much support and affection. Just really annoying.

In my family we are 3 kids. My mom always would punish to my second brother and me the youngest, we where the most responsible, we always did our part of the work at home and ended making my oldest brother job part too cause he would choose to make my mom angry instead of helping, this kept a long time since me and my brother stopped doing it, so she could see how things didn't work cause of him. In the end she needed to step up and put and end to his behaviour, of course that wasn't for a long time, since I'm not dumb and so my brother, my mom also couldn't take it and needed to do what she had to do. :V

@@yogurLAPIZ I have the same problem too. am the oldest child, me and my younger sister do all the chores in the house my brother literally does nothing even though he is the second oldest. if there is anything in the house that is not clean my mom shouts at me alone. if I tell her its not my turn to do the chores today, she keeps shouting at me saying how we are making her so tired and how we don't do anything around the house or help her at all. I know she is under so much stress these days (we are in debt) that is why she vents her anger on me, and every time I talk to her about my brother she just says she cant do anything about him(tbh I think he has anger management issues). at this point I cant even express my anger, I bottle it all up.
@yogurLAPIZ
@yogurLAPIZ 5 жыл бұрын
@@professionalfangirl168 for I just stopped doing his part, at least if I was being shouted I wouldn't have waisted my time in cleaning but instead on myself. And when my came to say something I would tell her to go and waste her voice on the culprit not me causes I can't make amends on her life if there someone else bothering her. And remember her I'm helping cause I want to, but also if don't do it it's my choice, so she should put her anger over someone else. Also I don't recommend you to pent it up, and say to her don't use you as disposal of her anger you are a kid not trash to be thrown her sh@. Even if I love my mom something I learned throw the years is that parents can be spoiled too, so if you keep taking charge of what is supposed to be her doing she will take it as it's your job, and the day when you want to shove it back to her, she will feel and everyone will look at you as being bad kid. And you will still be angry, waisted, tired, etc. And the end when you freak out and shout they will say they never asked you to pent it up, it was your choice. So please be a good son or daughter make your job so you help her, but don't forget you are a kid and not responsible for her life or yours brothers and sisters life. We are all living together but someday we will part our ways, doesn't mean we are never going to talk again, but everyone will be responsible of theyr own actions. P.s: have to say when my mom got back to Brasil and my oldest brother stayed alone in Spain (I was a minor so I didn't have a choice) he then learned throw life how hard is to get money, how friends will not help you when needed, how many real friends you have and most of it how assholes they where throw the time they lived with us. (only I didn't play games but worked on my identity and mentality to gain confidence since I didn't finish my degree.) I also never finished anything or any passion in my life. (sports, arts, music) Tho I believe we don't have the same path, my younger sis is doing well/better than me. She works at a top TV station. My mom is also tired but still loves and prays for me fervently and supports me 100% all the time. Others say she's pampering me but she worries and believes in me like the mom believes in his son. Enough with questioning the mom's love or her background. It's all up to the son bec whether his mom loves him excessively or not, in the end, it's his life. The son is playing under his game and potential and should start figuring out what attracts/excites him--- what he's passionate about. People like us should start exploring and experiencing fulfillments as a result of our self-discipline and hardwork. He's weak bec he hasn't experienced harsh pain but once he gets out of his comfort zone, surrounded by the right people and the right mindset, he can flourish. Maybe Japan is his calling or video games. He needs to improve on himself and stop making excuses. Work hard knowing that "FAILURE is a process, not the ending." I was PISSED OFF at the other hosts for stopping Yuqi from telling him THE TRUTH! He needs TOUGH REALITY now. The elder brother and his mom are TOXIC and will only bring the younger brother down with them. I would ditch both their asses and live my life. Mom has had over 20 yrs to raise her sons as responsible human beings for society. She FAILED THEM BOTH. She has enabled her eldest son and abandoned her youngest who actually has proven to be a good guy. The only way mom and elder brother will change is when they become disgusted with their own conditions. They need real mental counseling, because that is severe depression.

Yuqi was especially upset as She had to go through many struggles that She had either no choice to leave or Had to do if She wanted to achieve where She is, so it's cringeworthy to see someone simply not endure the hardship, His mother is spoiling Him but He has never fully-realized that it still puts a massive burden on His mother and at the end putting an even bigger burden on His younger brother, When the mother passes away, Junha (younger) would eventually want to live a peaceful life and get married but if His older brother would be A burden especially without their mother providing for Him, it would very much be A hindrance to Junha's life, I wish the 형님 older brother will learn that He has to work and experience pain in order to become A better person, He has to imagine A situation where He has no one to go to as currently He cannot live in A world without anybody else spoiling Him.

Will Spector well nobody is perfect so sometimes people don’t know the proper way to express their love. Would you then say that she hates her child ?? No way she is ready to give everything for him without any condition. The step mother who raised her probably never expressed love so for her love is giving everything for your child and never let him down even when he does nothing with his life. She doesn’t want to see him fail. Obviously it’s wrong but she obviously does everything out of love.

LMAO Yuqi's arrow shoot straight to the point. Seriously, in the working environment, everyone is the same. You learn from each other. It's not that embarrassing to be working for a younger manager, because you work for yourself, to feed yourself and your family. It's more embarrassing to be at that age and say "Mom, I need money." If he likes games so much, he should look for game-related jobs like BETA tester or something.

I feel ashamed that I can relate to him and I have some problems too.. I quit school because I had suicidal thoughts but I am scared to do a job interview and I used to feel much more ashamed in the past before my mother kicked me out, but I just live with my dad. My mom used to scream and say all sorts of hurtful things to me and I don't want to talk to her anymore. She doesn't have empathy for me ever since I'm young. She just screamed at me to get a job but she never showed me how. She didn't praise me for the good things I did and she shamed me when I wasn't good enough. Now that I don't live with her anymore I don't know if I'll be able to return to school and have good grades. I am smart I just struggle with discipline. I didn't want her to see me working. I don't want her to see me succeed. This is a mindset I am since very young to protect me against her shaming, now I don't know how to get out from this mindset. Also I'm scared to meet people I know cause they would see my life now. I talk only to my father and brother. Also I don't know what I want in life except a boyfriend and some clothes. I don't know if someone would read this but anyway. I'm much younger than him.

@@thisisntallowed9560 that's good. The younger you are, the more time you have. If u work hard now, by the time u get to his age, u will accomplish much more. I'm not even in high school yet, but I think about the future. My parents always told me to do this and that and I always did. I felt sad all time because while I was doing work, my parents were having fun with my brother. Even then I cared about them. I learned that in the end I had to at least save myself because no one else will. My family never noticed how much I struggled and it was so messed up cuz I was happy that way. I like how they didn't know and that was mainly because they hated crying and pain in general. They always thought it was nothing and that when they were my age, they did a lot more than me. Then I would always think about my brother and how he would never accomplish as much as I have in his whole life. When we both get in trouble, my mom would lecture us but my brother would never listen. I would be the only one to hear her harsh words and I would ultimately be the one doing everything. Ever since I had to do everything, this was like my fate. No one else did it because they had me. Sometimes imagine myself dying. Would they be happy? Would they be genuinely sad or sad because they would have to actually do things? This happens a lot in many families and it breaks my heart. Most people never know about it. They really don't know how common it is and the scariest part is how much this happens.

I don't think the mother even realizes she raised her eldest son like that bcuz she needed an emotional outlet from her divorce. She basically turned him into her emotional teddy bear and treats him that way in hopes that he won't leave like the dad did. She takes all the abuse and mistreatment and still supports him bcuz if she does, he'll never leave, like he hasn't. He won't grow out of it at 30 bcuz she'll keep doin the same things bcuz she doesn't wanna acknowledge the hurt and loneliness the divorce left her. She still views her youngest son as her son which is why she doesn't bend to him like she does the eldest. She says she wants out, but took every opportunity to give a reason as to why she MUST support her eldest. She never actually said she would stop doin what she's doin. Personally, I think the youngest should stop supporting them for a while and "slack off" like the eldest too and see if she likes that. He should cause a bit of "trouble" and see if she likes that. She is doin exactly what she said she didn't wanna do to her kids.

Do you feel inferior and just log out and uninstall to never play again or do you work hard to raise your level? That's what a new job is like and once you have leveled up you will enjoy those things too. Fighting. As for the younger brother I wish I could say this. I think the older brother has some mental health concerns that should probably be addressed. The fact that he doesn't understand why someone would think highly of him, he sleeps excessively (hypersomnia), he sometimes doesn't leave the house for long periods of time, and he loses interest in things quickly... it sounds like he's lost passion in life and is only existing to exist. Playing video games is probably the only thing he can actually find the motivation to do since he enjoys it. In a way, I understand his position, and I've been somewhere similar. When you have nothing to work towards, it's very difficult to find reasons and motivation to exert yourself past a point of comfort. This is especially true if you're dealing with mental health issues. For instance, people with ADHD tend to get frustrated a lot quicker than others, and those with depression lack motivation and are particularly irritable in comparison to people who are otherwise mentally healthy. It seems like a tough situation, and I hope they were able to resolve it.

This is like my grandma and I. She spoiled my sister and verbally abused me when I was little. I wanted to get her love so I acted like a good girl, did everything and studied hard. But I wouldn't get ye grades she wanted, unlike my sister, she always got good grades. My sister made fun f me for it. I was fat as a kid, my grandma said it and so did my sister. Now that we're older, I'm 14, my grandma is 76. I don't feel like arguing with her anymore, before I used to stand up for myself when I got yelled at bc my sister got in trouble since I would tell my parent's the things I went through. Now I can't even trust my grandma, I don't believe she loves me. My sister now stays in her room whenever she can to watch anime and just eats junk food. She gets mad at my grandma so easily and doesn't appreciate her. When I stand up for my grandma, we fight, and my grandma yells at me. No matter how hard I try she never loves me. Same with my grandpa, they say how my parents spoil me. They don't, they try to replenish the love I'm missing since they're gone half of the day and I'm with my gravdparents. No matter how mature and strong I act, I'm not like that. I felt like I related to that brother sm. Ik ppl will think this is for attention or nobody cares but I just wanted to let out a bit of the sadness and anger I've built up. I don't have anyone to tell this to so I'm kinda just letting a bit out in this comment section.

You know I feel like you're wasting your time seeking love from someone who doesn't want to give it to you. Favouritism really hurts and I know you are being constantly compared to your older sister but don't do that to yourself. Don't ever compare yourself to her or ever feel lacking in comparison. Be a good person for yourself (don't let any hate build in your ❤️) , learn to love yourself and block your grandparents words. Just compete with yourself and focus on bettering yourself for your sake because YOU want to. Your sister will regret being an ass someday, she'll see how other sisters love their younger siblings and she'll regret having lost you. So good luck kiddo, you'll turn out amazing!
