Imagine living in FEAR of when she will scream shout manipulate and The punishment should match the crime and parents after punishing the child should always sympathize and comfort the child, say that they did so for the child and no matter they love the child. MY BOYFRIEND IS COMPLETELY TRAUMATIZED FROM HIS CHILDHOOD. This slick woman reminds me of his mother. She blames me for her problems now and I literally always told him not to lie and always be nice. She beat him up, a 26 year old adult, with shoes belts hangers etc for two days straight and grounded him, confined him, and took his communication away, gave him silent treatment, made him eat alone , no one talk to him etc. until he turned into and emotionless corpse. It took me a month to return him to half of what he used to be. When she thought she had broken him and controlled him, he decided to act just as angry and scary back at her. He didnt do this in the FIRST place because he was so NUMB for days on end. Just like the guy in the video, he learned to become emotionally manipulative in nature. Once he processed his feelings he went berserk on her and got his life back. Do you wanna know WHY ? Cause I called the house when SHE was suspected of having COVID, when SHE was sick and tried to HELP HIM TAKE CARE OF HER. She didnt appreciate how much I cared, how well he listened to me, and she LOST it. She tried to manipulate him by popping pills, he had to pick all of it out of her mouth, all 12 of them. I called again and said please I dont care if you swear at or shout at me, lets please TALK this out. She announced in a lilting patronizing voice that she was kicking her son out and "You two are on your own now". She didnt realise that we are both adults with adult friends and jobs. she was probably a loser at my age. She married at 18 to an absolute uneducated ass. She didnt know much about life then, and thought we are the same. When I tried to talk, it didnt help, and to prevent a physical fight, I sent someone over. Its COVID, no shelter, nothing is open, and the weather was too bad. They kicked him out without his phone his cards and his wallet. SHE LEFT HIM TO DIE. When they found that he got help and was capable of living on his own, they confined and abused him instead. THIS ISNT DISCIPLINE, ITS CALLED BEING A CRAZY CONTROL FREAK WHO DOESNT CARE HOW SHE GETS HER WAY.

Firstly, when has a child ever felt safe, loved, protected enough to be truthful to parents who beat them and abuse them physically and mentally. It’s usually the children with more ‘liberal’ open minded parents that can be more truthful to their parents. It’s looking like mandatory parents classes are needed. It’s strange isn’t it? You have to study and practice for a driving test but having a child when people are clearly not suitable is so easy. Secondly, a kid doesent choose you, doesent choose to have parents. It is entirely the parents decision to have kids. (Depending on the circumstances) A child is not something you buy in the shop and decide to take back. I presume the women decided to have kids. I am stunned that she thinks she can select between them. A women doesent go through months of pregnancy to pick and choose which kid she will love and give more attention to. That lady is not a mother. You DO NOT tell your kid life would be better without you. She clearly has psychological issues. I am not a therapist or pshchoanalyst, or whatever. But from what I have observed the fact that she becomes enraged with little white lies shows her incessant need to control. Abuse has many forms and she was unaware and manipulative enough to blame the issues on her son and husband. EVERYONE lies, especially kids. We are not born with a system that tells us wrong from right, we learn from our mistakes. The audience might laugh, I did at parts but that should not take away the fact that this women needs help. I find it amazing how people can get married, have children and be this emotionally unhinged. Their are many issues that I have missed but I’d be here forever if I had to list the range of problems with this concern.

9:27 I’m a Psychology Professor & work closely with families in🇬🇧All the mother described & seeing the boy, he displays many signs of Autism, a specialist would be able to diagnose what if so, what level & what he needs as a individual to thrive. It’s too often children get labelled naughty but, their not naughty they have a condition that can be controlled & go on to live normal lives. Also Autistic children/adults are very clever. At a point they find 1 passion & thrive beyond their age. We ask families we work with, to pay attention to what they engage in most. When someone is autistic or has ADHD & families keep calling them naughty, punish, instead of getting doctors appointment, the person will internally struggle & do certain, “naughty” things. As families don’t know what healthy changes to make, after a few appointments that work & help child/adult to control whatever they do because their frustrated & don’t have support, to spread their wings & thrive in life. Instead of coming on a TV SHOW! Take your child to see a doctor, if you feel your child is out of control. Better to be safe than sorry & IF he is, when he sees my mother took me on a global platform slammed me, didn’t help me & I didn’t ask for the condition - it will be heartbreaking. So anyone reading this, if your child acts up that it effects your life so much, be safe, responsible parents & take your child to see a doctor 1st. Stop calling them naughty because theirs always a root cause, if it’s not a medical condition, it’s something going on behind closed doors at home, which is the cause. Don’t be ashamed to take your child please, I promise if your child is autistic/ADHD you’ll be so proud & shocked with some change how much better they’re able to do beyond belief. Don’t belittle children - period! Unfortunately in Asian/Indian communities parents won’t do the right thing & feel if they do people will talk. Thankfully in🇬🇧it’s not a taboo subject & so many parents are getting children checked. Care about your child & not others. 🙏 11:28 I wish she was in🇬🇧she would be in prison, for verbal, mental & physical abuse. She proudly talks about it & should I hope the he is ok & if anyone reading knows him, please look after him. He’ll 100% have PTSD from childhood trauma 😢

Amen Lord please bless this little boy he is so sweet and innocent and it just melts my heart that his mom could say such things to him and I sincerely do hope that hello counselor invites guests who are specialists in family problems to help solve them also she might not look it but I feel like the boy's mom looks like she really wants to change

Why did it end on a note about the son's lies? The mother's verbal and emotional abuse are the biggest root here ffs ohmygod hello counselor needs to step up and have a psychiatrist or some specialist in the field

If your son tells you he's doing well in school he obviously wants you to be proud of him she should acknowledge that

the kid should be the one concerned

When you have your kid's number saved as 'My First Love' then please keep showing in your actions too. Asian parents do this mistake of only being a stick and completely missing on the carrot part. A kid needs balance of both and yes stick need not to be the literal stick. Physical abuse surely not necessary. It doesn't hurt to say a few nicer things to your kid. Those must be the words said in the heat of the moment but for a kid, it's imprinted that he is no longer required in your life. You don't understand but it's a mind shattering statement from one's mother.

Please don't put high expectations for your kids to be perfect or to be like what you wanted. Its their life. You should support them and teach them to behave well. There is so many ways to do that. Remember every kids that grow up is different. Don't compare them. Just be grateful for what you have.

I think the mother needs to manage her anger, that’s the thing that makes all her kids and her husband lie to her.. and verbally abuse is still an abuse, it hurts too

And ppl say they have professionals on set. I don't think so. The mom is abusive and like usual they all act like it's a normal thing to do.

I'm glad that both sides decided to make changes. I hope she can listen to her children before punishment and that the kids can be honest with their mom without being scared.

This mother I swear. “I had given up on you” “I feel the happiest when it’s just us three..” Bruhh. This is why Jimin is the way he is! He just wants to feel loved and praised by his mother who only feel resentment towards him! I feel him honestly. Imagine not getting loved or acknowledged by the person you want to try to work the hardest for, just so that they can be proud of being your parent. It hurts not feeling acknowledged by your only motivator in life y’know? And when you’re deprived from it, thats when you might start going down the wrong path. Its so heart breaking to see Jimin like this. Fighting!

In most cases when kids cause trouble the parents are usually a part of that problem, but in this case the mom IS the problem not her kid

i think we can all collectively agree the mom is the problem, not the other family members

He looked anxious the entire time and his hand kept shaking. The mom pays more attention to his faults than the younger siblings and that makes him walk on eggshells too. I hope he is able to build his confidence in the future and not be as nervous around his own mother.

At first I wonder why her son always telling lies. There must be a reason why he do that. After listen to his mom and seeing his innocent face, I know he really afraid of something and that's what make him think telling lies is the best solution. Ah why I'm getting teary eyes watching this.

I literally feel so bad for Jimin, he’s lying to get compliments from her that she doesn’t usually give and most people lie at some point in their lives and yet she’s not even questioning why he might be lying but completely isolating him from the family and favouring the others- that’s really going to help. I hope if anything’s changed since then that she’s become more caring towards her son because no child deserves to hear that they shouldn’t be part of the family. :(

I feel bad for the Jimin kid. Lying for him is a defense mechanism from his abusive mom. She clearly can't control her anger and needs to take some therapy sessions.

Actually, Jimin isn't the problem. It's the mom!

I feel so frustrated that no one has been firm and strict about the abusive behaviours of the mom towards his own kid... They should have confronted her more seriously I think... because even if she said she'll make some efforts, the issue seems really too big to be just left after 30 minutes of show. I'm so worried about Jimin right now, honestly, I don't feel good
