Someone in another reaction said that in the German version they said "half of your counsel is dead" so if I had to guess, I would think jayce, Mel, viktor and maybe one more person survived since viktor technically isn't part of the council

I think Ambessa (Mel's mom) is talking to Jayce, it makes a lot of sence to me. And the big head statue might be Corina Veraza and her garden. She's Chem Baronness with a very interesting story and relation to Cait

The rat-looking dude is the chembaron from season 1. He's also a yordle, but the supplementary material for the first season revealed that he replaced his limbs to look taller... which we see in action here. Honestly, the scene of him going apeshit is one of the highlights of the trailer, for me, and I don't even know why. I've got a soft spot for yordles, I guess.

While i'm definitely shipping Vi and Caitlyn (and I loved Caitlyn's character growth), my favorites are still Powder and Ekko. After watching the show shortly after it aired, I did find myself engaging in a lot of "What if...:?" scenarios involving those two. If Powdert and Ekko managed to get into the Academy, I bet they'd run rings around Jayce and Viktor, and they could've possibly been the ones to actually use the gemstones to improve lives, and help eliminate that severe class struggle. I also was thinking "How could Vi have convinced Powder to stay behind in Ep 3", but the only answer I could think of, would've been if Vi brought Ekko along, told her that he just watched Benzo die, and give Powder the job of watching over Ekko while the big kids rescued Vander, which could've helped convince the rest of the Undercity to turn on Silco.

My fav character in Arcane is Jayce~ in league, very hard to say: based on character it would be Aurolion Sol, Jhin, Veigar or Rakan based on playstayle, Zoe, Hwei, Taliyah, Shaco based on both: VelKoz 6:25 well it is known that the Piltover/Zaun story will end with S2, and S3 starts telling about different characters and region. so the speculation is that we will be going to Noxus via Mels mother (which was confirmed to become a champion in lol), and maybe then from noxus->shurima via singed+ noxus (invasion stuff) Based on the noxian soldiers (red/steel uniform), Noxus is coming, in some way or another. even if it's only mels moms personal thingy 7:10 fun fact, for the longest time i thought Mel was Karma because she looks similar to the OG Karma. Since she isn't tho, she has no Champion-Plotarmor x: i mean it could be a thing that she dies/is in a coma or something, thus her mom goes on a war path 8:14 keep in mind, based on s1 trailer, they are very good at misguiding and not spoiling, so im guessing that faceoff at the end, will be something coming up within the first 3 ep 11:05 it's not a champion from LoL, but it is a "supporting character" card in Legends of Runeterra (the card game) I wonder if the big person in the came could be Ahri? x: but prolly not, prolly Viktor or Jayce or so 12:12 most likely it is warwick, at least looks very much like in warwicks (rework) cinematic

I doubt any of the chembarons will be supporting Jinx. They all were radically against her in season 1 when she was still working for Silco, imagine now that she's completely unhinged. Zaun will just have a lot of different parties.

@@Vizible21 I think Jinx gets a little less insane in S2, in that she's a more stable person to follow. With a more clear goal in mind. (still crazy though) So I could see others following her. On two occasions in this trailer we see a shrine and a painting of Jinx, implying that she's become a source of revolution in Zaun.

@@lockekappa500 Who said it was made by Jinx. I honestly didn't pay attention to that to see if it has Jinx's drawings on it or something but it's Singed who would normally make those. I don't think those two are even the only ones who can make them in Zaun, especially with more characters being introduced.

The really cool thing about this, it's fairly likely imo that a) they follow the same 3 act format and b) this trailer only really shows scenes from the first act. If I had to guess, the Vi/Jinx scene is the end of Act 1 and only sets up the 2nd and 3rd act.

My fav arcane character is by far Viktor, wasnt expecting that personality but i loved it. About the game i dont have a fav one really, i love playing different champs, but kindred's lore is amazing.

When I saw this, my reaction was "Fuck. This is going to hurt." I even heard that one of the voice actors had to go in for some ADR work for the finale, and... yeah. They said they were crying because of it. Yeah. This is going to hurt. And my favorite character from Arcane is Ekko. Really looking forward to what he and Heimerdinger get up to in season 2! Also, I get why you still call her Powder, but at this point, it's like insisting on calling a trans person by their dead name, it feels like. Jinx is her chosen identity, and it isn't an insult to her, it is the self that she has embraced. We the audience may want to keep seeing her in those terms, but... at the same time, we kind of need to accept and respect how she sees herself to a certain degree. Does that make sense? I'm not sure if it does. And don't get me wrong, I'm saying this as someone who... very viscerally feels Powder's side from the end of season 1, and has a lot of respect for the position she's taken. I may not agree with what she did by firing Fishbones, but I've been through that moment of crisis and needing to assert my own identity here within the last few years. That's part of why I stand by her being Jinx rather than Powder, weird as it almost certainly sounds to say it like that XD Even if we don't blame "Powder" for what happened in episode 3, I think it is reasonably safe to say that Jinx does hold Powder responsible for it, and she can't seem to be able to stand that name, either. To bring it back to the heartbreaking final song from the end of season 1, Powder is Jinx's "what could have been"... and Powder cannot be her anymore. That what could have been is the one that lost.

My favorite Arcane characters are definitely Silco and Ekko. Ekko is just cool af in the game, as well as in Arcane, and Silco is up there among the best villains. You know a villain was written perfectly if you cry when they die. Plus I love his style. That black, red and gold suit outfit is one of the best looks in the League universe. Favorite League of Legends characters are Jhin, Viego, and Zed. Jhin has to be one of the best characters in history, and his story would allow him to appear in Arcane S2, but it's not likely. We're much more likely to see him if Riot decides to explore Ionia in another show.

I saw a comment on the trailer that the guy singing in the beginning (like first 15 seconds) sounds a lot like the voice actor for Jhin. And assuming this trailer only shows stuff from Act 1, it's very possible we see characters like Jhin/Camille this season.

I initially thought they were just trying to make us think Jayce and Viktor died to avoid spoilers in the teaser but seeing how this is the last season and they're introducing so many characters and plot lines in a season that will probably be about as long as the first one, I'm starting to think they could have just actually killed them. It'd be really bold but they can't afford to focus on so many characters and it's also the most coherent outcome and strongest motivation for the remaining characters. Or maybe they'll just leave it in the air until future series arrive. We'll see.
