Just a cool small detail but in one of the scenes Vi incorporated Claggor's goggles into her fit which I though was pretty wholesome

@@timhaldane7588 From the frame I saw it looks exactly the same as Claggor's. Also, the last we saw those goggles was at the finale episode when Jinx put them on the Claggor doll so it can be assumed Vi takes them when she leaves that place. So unless Vi went out of her way to find an exact replica instead of taking the one right next to her at end which actually had sentimental value, its likely his.

I think the one chance is if she had some type of magical protection. Noxus, her homeland, has some magical abilities, it is plausible that her dress was embued without some type of shield.

She has gold armor of some kind all over her body that does not look Noxian at all, they've made a point of mentioning her father and pointing out that he's not Noxian, and the armor flashed gold immediately before impact. She has the most chance out of any council member aside from Jayce and Viktor of still being alive, and I'd honestly be a bit surprised if she's just straight up dead given all of the threads they dangled.

Yes, she wore gold the entire season. I never once said nor implied it was *only* there for that one scene. And for sure, It was definitely just the light hitting the gold....on her armor....that was completely obscured underneath her clothes....that they specifically edited out of the way for that final shot to show her full unclothed back so we could see all the light hitting it. Honestly if you're gonna get aggro about something maybe watch it again before making up inane excuses that fly directly in the face of what they actually showed you.

I get it, Jinx is still a dangerous criminal but context is important! She blew up the Council aka people responsible for the deaths of her family and years of untold suffering for Zaun. She didn't become radicalized out of nowhere is all I'm saying. Also Jayce actually made up with Viktor by the end of the season and stopped him from offing himself after what happened to Skye in his lab.

She did say "half". Just not in the English trailer. I strongly suspect that the reason Jayce will survive is because Mel threw herself in the way to protect him, and Mel will either be critical or dead. Viktor, I suspect, will be "dead". He will be buried with the Hexcore, which will resurrect him. The cloaked mystery figure is him.

It's been a while since you guys watched Arcane but Jayce wasn't that bad at the end lol. He was there for Viktor after realizing his mistakes and same thing for Mel and Vi and Cait. He gave them all chances and worked with them in different ways in the last few eps. the only person he fcked over was Heimerdinger lol

He was never bad, just naïve and a bit misguided at times. Even when he betrayed Heimerdinger Mel was right, nothing he said was untrue. Heimerdinger was very much like Yoda, too old and insulated to see what problems have festered outside of his cozy spot in the academy and ultimately his removal from the council is probably exactly what he needed

I've expressed my opinion on what should happen in season 2 and I think this trailer is probably decpetive and agree with you that Jayce, Viktor, and Mel probably survived. It's surprising that they're just going to end the show with this season. I'll be interested in knowing the reason why. That thing that the Doctor (who goes by Singe in the game) is another character from the game.

During a dev update, Christian Linke (one of the writers) mentioned that they've always planned for Arcane to have two seasons. HOWEVER, they are already working on other stories and films for the future involving other characters. You can listen to this in the recent League of Legends dev update in the Arcane segment of the video (same date as this trailer).

Season 2 finishes the story they wanted to tell and they don't want to drag it out either. But yes they will be moving to other stories in this world, I can't help but think we might get Demacia or Noxus as the next stories regions. To be fair though I think Demacia, Ionia and Freljord have some of the better narratives to work with. Noxus has a lot going on in it but very little id actually consider story/series worthy

@@artboymoy majority of lore that happens with Noxus is either before it becomes the empire we know it as or later in the timeline when they attack Ionia. Their conflict with Ionia they could pivot into but I get the impression that's still a few years off lore wise. We only have rough timetables to work off of. League of Legends as we know it "happens" a few years after arcane. That's how we know Viktor and Jayce will survive because they're champions in the game

I'm giving Mel a 63% chance to live. We see the tattoos on her back light up when the rocket gets close which could be indicative of a protective magic infused into the tattoo itself. But I could be wrong we will see

@@Kilonzo8811 it's a tattoo on her back. If it's magical in nature she got it from somewhere else as she was too young when she was banished to have gotten that then. The confusing parts though here are that between her flashback as a child where she looks like she's wearing something that the solari from Targon would wear and the tattoos on her back while not explicitly specifying it's targonian in nature reverbs the same kind of magic we would see from Targon as well. Noxus tends to specialize in destructive magics where Targonians use a lot more protective magics. I'm a league lore nerd (have been playing since the game launched 😝)and I know a lot but I don't know everything.

Jinx is fucked up yeah but the council is the one that ignored the city of Zaun for so many years because they were corrupt so I don't blame her at all! They made their villains because of themselves. I'm proud of Jinx of getting a huge statue of herself.

The statue isn't her, it's one of the barons at Silco's council in the first season, just like the small yordle who has the Inspector Gadget arm setup. Jinx seems to be getting some respect though from the painting with her leading a revolution.
