Arcane was written as a complete story made for 2 seasons of TV. They are making more shows in the world with the same team, but the setting won't be in Zaun/Piltover. It'll be other regions and telling stories of vital characters that make up the world.

@@phuckilljoy7191 I have a feeling season 2 is Viktor/Jayce (or at least I hope it is). I think the Vi/Jinx storyline was finished in season 1. Season 2 is just the outcome (where they are now) part of that story while Jayce and Viktor take center stage. Trailers can often be misleading and they wanted to leave out Mel, Viktor and Jayce since they didn't want to spoil who survives that last rocket to the council chambers.

I am sure they can come back to regions for stories later since a lot of chars travel all over the world and some stuff ties directly into the stories of other places. Like jumping to noxus after this and then back to zaun with urgot or the like. We havent seen nearly everything piltover and zhaun have to offer. ("Spoilers") Twitch, Blitzcrank, Viktors evolution, the dam breaking and janna saving zhaun, singed fleeing to noxus, orianna, camilles plots, renata glasc taking over, Caits vendetta with "C", Zeri, Seraphine, Ziggs, etc.

I wasn't surprised. If you followed along with news and stuff, you'd have known that this is the final story for Piltover vs Zaun, but they'll be continuing Arcane in other stories. I prefer it this way cause it keeps the writing tight.

No need to worry It's the final chapter for the Jinx/Vi arc, but the overall story will continue in other places and with other characters. LoL has 160+ characters and continuously increasing, and every single one of them are interesting on their own right and worth making a story about, so I have no doubt in my mind that the next project will be as high quality as the first 2 seasons.

Arcane is only a small piece of stories for the whole Runeterra verse, its the end chapter for Jinx and Vi's story. There are 167 champions with their own lore and 11 regions in Runeterra and we barely touched Zaun and Piltover.

If it helps. The second season will wrap up this story line. But Riot is working with fortiche (the studio behind the animation) to bring other story line as series. So we'll basically get different shows in the same universe featuring different characters.

Honestly I'm so glad it's the last season. Too many shows give in to their success and keep prolonging the story, until they eventually just spoil it. I'd rather have two amazing seasons, than have more good seasons before it inevitably gets terrible because the story goes on too long. (I.E. Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, so many examples)

By *Final Chapter.* I am 100% convinced they mean that this season will wrap up the Vi/Jinx and Piltover/Zhaun storylines. They are using the death of Mel to bring Noxus into conflict with Zhaun.. And this will be used as the jumping point to open up storylines throughout the rest of the world of Runeterra. However... We may still see more of Zhaun, and Piltover in the future as they dive into the storylines of Viktor becoming the Machine Herald and his Glorious Evolution. Fear not Friends. Arcane is far from over.

Come on guys, I’m glad to see y’all excited for it but this really deserved more than 2 minutes of discussion. You didn’t talk about a single thing that actually had to do with what was in the trailer you just watched. You’ve been reacting to so many things lately it seems like this channel is really prioritizing quantity over quality. While im sure it might be more efficient on the value side of things, I’d hate to see this channel turn into a content machine. Eric once said that he’s seen people do reactions to music and songs on KZbin and that he doesn’t believe that it’s “real content.” If that’s the case, I feel like trailer reactions are even less so especially if it’s done like this, where there’s virtually no discussion about the actual reacted-to content. Rick hasn’t even seen the first season so there were potential spoilers there as well.

I'm so sad about the final season thing. When the series was initially announced to be in the works, long long ago, I was interested but I heard someone say the story was about two siblings who WEREN'T champions, so I was kind of just like, "Oh, okay, that's neat but I probably won't watch." Then I avoided ALL information on it from that point forward (not intentionally, just kind of happened) until the first act dropped. Then I was art of Jinx, I flipped out and was completely locked in immediately because Jinx has always been one of my favorite champions and I always enjoyed the Piltover/Zaun lore/aesthetic. The show is great, everything went beyond any expectations I could have had in Season 1 which bodes well for any other stories they do, but I just don't care about the backstories of any of the other champs or areas of the game like I do for the Piltover & Zaun champions and lore. I'm always an advocate for ending stories on a high note and not dragging them out until they lose all of their charm, but man I'm gonna be so bummed when this ends.

Back in 2017, they said they wanted to make league of legends a marvel equivalent. So they'll make 2 seasons of arcane, then a couple seasons in Damacia, in Ionia, in Noxus etc... each time with the relevant champions. And I bet if things go their way they will make Avengers style cross overs they will simply call league of legends.

I feel like announcing this as the final chapter while knowing that they want to do new shows in this universe is such a huge mistake because this show managed to capture mainstream success, doing spin off after spinoff could lose people between in the cracks, and because it's on netflix, to a bunch of casual watchers the show might end up in their eyes just being "another show i liked that got cancelled."
