Mr. Hatlevig, thank you for the work you do here. I'm a 68yo bike commuter in Florida and I live for it. Literally. I watch a lot of black diamond stuff on youtube, but I'm too old to shred, if indeed I ever wasn't. And it was nice to just trail ride with you here for a bit. The ride is clearly woven into your living philosophies. As for me, on weekends, I work on the isolation unit of a VA hospital. While the world has apparently moved on from CoViD, we have not. And for these last four years, my 2019 Trek Xcalibur 7 hardtail 29er has been my obsession. And my deliverance. Second childhood rocks! Way better toys.

Thanks for watching! I love making “real” videos so I’m happy this related with you. Best of luck at the VA hospital. You have yourself a beautiful looking hardtail!

Good thing you don't live in the Pacific Northwest brother...lol, the trails are muddy almost year round! Cleaning our bikes is a ritual around here, spending as much time cleaning as riding! Great Video, new subscriber!

But your trails look AWESOME! I really want to get out there sometime. It’s gotta be worth all the maintenance lol Thanks for watching and subscribing!
