Have seen them in concert about 5 times. After the first time I wasn't sure if it was good or not so I had to go 4 more times. I found out yes they put on a great show but at a cost to your hearing.😁Especially when they played For Those About To Rock We Salute You! Totally worth it though.😎👍

I really enjoyed watching your reaction! Welcome to the world of ac/dc! I was listening to this song running from the Alabama State Troopers during Covid shutdown on a cool Sunday morning in my ZL1 Camaro. Lol…I’d liked to have seen their faces when I dropped the hammer. Lost them past 160mph. Was still spinning the tires at 120mph. Hid behind a church for 20 minutes and cruised home. Nothing catches this car…not even the Grim Reaper.

I love your reaction to this great song. I saw these guys live in 1987 and was at the very front of crowd. the band was so loud that I experienced hearing loss in my left ear. That crowd was so packed in that my feet left the ground for about 30 minutes, i lost one boot and my inner ears were so distorted that i was literally dizzy after the show. Oh and by the way, I have a crush on you, you are pretty.

HI Sarah, This was originally released in 1977 and is from the album Let There Be Rock, It's actually based on a real life experience original lead singer Bon Scott had with a rather large woman , It turned out to be a night he would never forget , It inspired Malcolm Young, Angus Young, and Bon Scott to write Whole Lotta Rosie 😂😂 This is Brian Johnson on lead vocals , He took over from original singer Bon Scott who sadly passed away on February 19th 1980 ,Aged just 33🙏🙏 AC/DC are still going strong today in their 60s and 70s, singer Brian Johnson is now 75 years old 😂😂 They formed in Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺 ,in 1973 😂😂 Big Hi from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I know this may sound absurd, but my friend, he was a drummer and I played guitar, and we played ACDC, and other hits, in his grandmother's old chicken coup. We took it over, and she would buy us beer. The place would rock on the weekends,

A great but very naughty song. Tightest rhythm section in music. Love your reaction. THIS is rock. THIS is music. No stupid auto tune, no idiotic pitch correction, no backing click tracks, no mindless 50,000 backing dancers because the singer cant own the stage on his own, These guys like so many bands from that era just dont need it. They can do it on their own, just pure powerful rock and entertainment. Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Niki Minaj, et al, sit down, shut up and pay attention. You'll NEVER be this good and I doubt you'll still be doing your slop in 50 years like these lads.

If you could plug that energy into the grid I think the grid would blow up. Imagine being in the crowd. If you want to watch other great Aussie bands check out INXS , suicide blond at Wembley , or Cold Chisel , Bow river 2003.

This was a good performance, although I prefer Bon Scott's vocals over Brian Johnson's, who joined the band after Scott's death. I saw AC/DC live only once, in 1978 at the Oakland Coliseum, for a Day on the Green event. They were not really well known yet at that time, and were the opening act, but I felt like they were the highlight of the day. The bands that followed them were Van Halen, Pat Travers, Foreigner, and Aerosmith.

The Rolling Stones were supposed to be the headliners for the 450,000 people at the SARS concert in 2003 in Toronto but, of course, AC/DC stole the show.

@@barrydunn682 Not surprised at all, they knew how to make an impact! When I saw them, as the opening act they were only allowed to do a relatively short set, but boy did they make the most of it! Also, this was Valen Halen's first tour, as their debut album had come out just a few months earlier, so this was likely their first Bay Area appearance. Along with AC/DC, they outdid the other 3 higher-billed bands easily.

Here is a list that you should try (in any order): -Let There be Rock - official video or Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon) -TNT (Live at River Plate) - (with Brian) -Riff Raff Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon) - The Jack Live at River Plate - (with Brian) - Its a Long Way to The Top (If you wanna Rock n Roll) - (with Bon) - Thunderstruck - Live at River Plate or Donington - (with Brian) -For Thouse About to Rock - Live at River Plate (is The Last song from the concert)

Hi Sarah: I love your reaction to the song, but as at least one other person said, you need to listen to the live version with the original vocalist Bon Scott. The other thing to realize is this: the song is based on a true story of Bon having a fling with a fat woman (19 stone or about 265 pounds), who was actually named Rosie, in Tasmania (island off the coast of Australia). Brian Johnson is good, but Bon is THE MAN.
