This is the most underappreciated song in the AC/DC library. None of their more well known songs rock this hard. My ex-wife was in my Corvette after a couple of beers with her brother. She was rocking out to this song and going 15 mph over the speed limit when the red and blue lights came on behind her. She finally pulled over 10 miles later with six patrol cars on her ass. To this day she can't explain why she did that.

Every video I've seen from this concert gives a perfect example of what it is to be rock gods. The music is grooving so strongly and the massive (no really, that is heading in the direction of the Metallica Russia concert) crowd is both putty in their hands as well as a huge part of the electric in the night. It's a perfect mix in what I'm sure was a perfect concert night. 'Rosie' is not the perfect rock song, but it is definitely a great example in all ways of what Rock aspires to be. You can point to it and say: " This is what rock and roll is." and the idea will get through.

Not read all the comments, and i know am behind on the reaction. There is a story behind this song, if not already covered. Was back when Bon Scott was still alive. From what i have seen from interviews, not sure if 100.... but it goes that Bon was late for a practice, cause he was out drinking. Ended up going back to a young ladies house, she was on the bigger side, as her measurements say.. she rocked Bon allllllllll night, and more then 3 times. Angus and the others were working on a riff, Bon came in that old them what happened, couple hours later, whala.. Whole Lotta Rosie was born.
