I agree, I thought the parts reflecting on the terminology we use and what it could mean (lesbian, partner) were refreshing.

I had a smoothie spill in my car before after scrubbing for a long time, the thing that I found the best to work is putting a candle from Anthropologie in one of the car doors (not lighting it). On hot days it melts and makes the car smell great!!

Love the "OFFF!" tip... Going to be yelling "off" all over my house now.

I think saying “boyfriend and girlfriend” sounds trivial and “youngish” for someone older who is dating their SO for a long time. Saying “partner” sounds more serious and next step before “fiancé/marriage”. For example, I’ve been dating my boyfriend for almost 6 years and we’ve lived together for 3 years and recently bought a house together. I use boyfriend and partner interchangeably. I find myself using “partner” in more serious settings (ie. work or filling out important documents).

The need for human physical connection as a single person is so real, that's why I sometimes book back, sack and crack appointments when I already got waxed a day prior 😌

Isn't partner someone whom you are serious with but don't want to formalize the relatiosnhip with (aka marry)? Hmm...

I used to think of it this way but I hear it more frequently and from people at various levels of commitment in their relationship (a few months, years) that I no longer assume it has that significance. It seems like a more ambiguous term now, to me anyway, which is fine and useful for convos at work cuz, not everyone should know everything lol.
