I am sorry Matty had to leave for a while. It really is an ideal situation to have a companion but you both have your own space. He is doing the right thing and I know you support him because you are a good person. I think you should pop in your Van and head to Georgia for a visit when you get a chance. Hi Amanda. I’m sorry for whatever happened in Marty’s life but hopefully his situation will resolve in as favorable fashion as possible. Yes, I imagine having a good friend and companion have to leave is difficult but I hope you can connect with others and move forward. It’s funny, I crave being alone and camp alone quite frequently…well, my bulldog is with me. My friends and family always,think,that’s “odd” and assume that something is “wrong” because my wife is not with me. I explain,that nothing is wrong but I just enjoy being alone, thinking, relaxing and not having to entertain anyone nor be entertained. I really enjoy meeting people and socializing but at the same time, I just enjoy some quietness….just me and the bulldog taking walks, reading, thinking, puttering around doing little projects, etc. I hope you’re ok and again, sorry about your friend.
