As a huge Rem fan too, I feel like it's a lot for harder for me to loves these newer 1/7th figures. There are so many good prize figures that are around the same size. If you are gonna make a scale and charge about 10 times the price it should have 10 times the value. Also, this particular Rem has my biggest pet peeve of all... a massive useless base. If her wedding dress was going to be down the whole way, they definitely could have just used that to prop her up and forgone the terrible massive base. I also hate when everything is shiny, not only does it look weird but then it makes in difficult to photograph.

Great video as always! Have to agree with your minus points abt this one. Am glad that I chose to pick up the hanfu rem instead. Sad to see you disappointed tho as you tend to love rem figures so much that you overlook their caveats :( Hope furyu steps up their game

I kind of remember some figure having a black wedding dress in one of the shows this year. Maybe a non-traditional color dress would be more interesting. It does look nice at first glance. Thanks for the video 😁

It really it all comes down to both the size and the over use of pearly gloss color for,prety much everything,when it comes to wedding dress figures,i personally like to see some more colors that you relate the character too,maybe some more details on the dress on transparent parts to represent silk,but yeah,while the figure is ok,neither thesize nor the coloring is not worth the price

I think this Rem is a nice change as her other "wedding" figures are super sexualized and this is a nice change.

Excellent review! I did skip this one because it looked a bit too meh for me. I adore Rem and "romantic" figures but you're right it's all way too much of the same colors.

I was honestly relieved that I found this Rem slightly too boring to pick up as she's getting soo many figures and despite loving her I have other waifus as well T_T It's still a beautiful figure and it was really nice seeing your review of her! I actually really like the wedding dress but it was the face that made me pass personally. She's pretty but like you say, she could have looked happier when getting married and all. So in the sea of Rem figures it's easy for this one to get overlooked despite being a nice figure. I hope she grows on you however! If she was bigger I might actually have looked around for one myself x3 But I will try to make do with the ~10 other scale figures I'll end up with once my latest preorders arrive ^^" Until maybe a sale comes around xD

I just decided once I saw her on the F:NEX site that I would stick to just Hanfu Rem for the time being as there were a couple other Rems in production I was interested in as well xD And I have the lingerie wedding dress figures but I wouldn't mind a more appropriate wedding dress haha. Also hope the perfect wedding dress Rem can join your collection at a later date

PSA to anyone who reads this: Do not buy Furyu figures. I learned my lesson the hard way after buying 5 expensive scales. As a whole, painting was messy, bait/switching with the prototypes vs final product, and sloppy assembly of parts.

I feel like there's too much going on with the folds and flow of the dress. The soft pastel colors also get drowned by the glossy pearl white color of the dress. Maybe it could have been better if it was a mullet dress style instead of conservative one.

Wow, I would have to definitely agree with you as much as I love grand dresses especially with Rem. I feel like FurYu just slapped together Rem+wedding dress with a high price and thought it would sell. Us Rem fans understand a good quality Rem figure! 😤

I'm not a wedding dress fan, but besides that I did believe this figure came out flat. They def needed to experiment with paint styles like you said and not just pearlescent. I think even experimenting with real lace would have been cooler.

At least with prize figures you know not to expect much, but to price so high and deliver something this lackluster is gross. The thing that bothers me most is definitely those stupid plastic stands that they've been leaving out of promo pics, which is false advertising 100%. They know what they're doing. >__>
