Derick! Man what can I say, your videos make me smile. As a fellow One Piece collector, I can't get enough of your collection. What I like most is just how varied it is. My collection consists manly of Megahouse POPs but yours has all sorts of collectibles. As for the Sunny... YES! I had my eye on Chogokin Sunny for so long and to my great luck Crunchyroll's online store had it on sale for Black Friday -- 40% off!!!! I can't wait to finally get this. Now I'll likely try my hand at getting the Going Merry Chogokin re-release!

Gonna be nitpicky here, but the flags on top of the Sunny's masts should wave the other way since the wind coming from behind the Sunny would push the flags forward just like the sails. The ship would have to move faster than the wind coming from the back for the flags to wave backwards ☝🤓 (Yes, I'm fun at parties, how did you know?)

A fine piece to add to the collection!! It's also my dream to add their ship to the collection - altho, I would love a manufacturer to take on some ambitious project to do the ship and incorporate one of the classic scenes with the crew. Something like what OPM studio does for Spirited Away and series.

About echo reduction, I have found that thick black-out curtains along one of my walls nearly completely deadens the sound in my room. I see you have curtains up, perhaps invest in a heavier set of them that work against noise, light, etc. I also have carpet covering the whole room that naturally absorbs sound. There are many ways to get around having to hang up ugly acoustic panels

Nice haul! Sadly I don't have space for a ship model that size....😅 Also I really like the pre TS funko pops, esp. Sanji (well in general tbh), because you hardly see a figure with his heart eyes, which I do understand people don't like it or find it annoying, but that's how he is with beautiful ladies. 😊

A great alternative to the Sunny is the grandline ships sunny. Its a prize figure but it's really really nice. I own that & the Chogokin Going Merry which both fit together in a detolf.

Oh no! Not the Funko Pops!! j/k That Thousand Sunny model ship should in every One Piece fan's collection. I consider it more of a collectible toy than a figure. The construction looks solid and many of the parts are movable. Assembly looks more fun than your typical resin figures. ;) Great pickup!

I admit I bought some Funko's before from One Piece and Naruto, particularly for the Law's at the time where he is using room and has a heart in his hand. (I paid a stupid amount) Over time I gave them to my kids to play with. I don't get their after market one bit and who's buying. I think the space for them is precious and I don't find them really cute lol. But of course to each their own, enjoy what you want! (or the girlfriend) :) The ship is pretty cool!
