I've been using grease for 8 months and my hair is retaining length so much faster! I also don't need to trim bc I barely ever get those fairy knots anymore. My hair grows fast on it's own but the grease allows me to retain so much more! 🥰🥰🥰 I think my scalp loves lanolin!

Hi Sis! Just found your channel tonight and just finished oiling my scalp with Indian Hemp grease. I use mine as a hot oil treatment. I heat it, then put it in my hair warm (not hot). I use it after I have put my leave in into my hair. I did a big chop back in 2020 due to extreme damage, and have been growing it back. Glad to see someone else using the Indian Hemp. God bless 💗

To keep the herbs out of your scalp and hair I have added some to my grapeseed oil and mixed together. This gives the herbs a chance to slip to the bottom of my application bottle. Which keeps the bits away ^.^

I've gone back to using this grease. It's nice makes my hair Soooh soft... and the shine is like 😲😍😲😍 "Oooh Yasss!!" I find that the grease in my hair enables the comb to pass/slip through easier. My hair feels smooth. Where-as I feel the creams and leave in conditioner, over time, makes my hair feel sticky and coated. And not so easy to comb through. I am determined to keep using grease this year and not deviate, we never had leave in conditioners back in the day, just DAX and Soft Sheen. The only oils I remember from childhood are castor and coconut, both homemade from back home... Caribbean. I'm slowly starting to realise I may have wasted a lot of money 🤦🏽♀️.

@@NeziNappsakaNezi hey thank you for replying! I just looked at the above statement and was curious how do you isolate your crown area when styling? And I actually just went back to the basics and bought my blue magic Indian hemp and the sure gro! Which one is best for starting over in your hair growth journey to start seeing growth quick ?
@NeziNappsakaNezi2 жыл бұрын
@@Justmelanin Just section your crown by using your fingers or wide tooth comb, while your hair is still wet or damp with water and add a leave-in conditioner to your hair strands. Your leave-in conditioner can be liquid or cream. Using a leave-in conditioner gives your hair the slip that it needs, when you rake through your hair. It presents breakage and provides moisture. If you want a heavier, moisturized, juicy feeling to your hair strands, apply a moisturizer on top of your leave-in. Lastly, add your hair grease on top. That will hold and seal that moisturize in. This method is called, L.C.O=Liquid. Cream. Oil You can reverse this method. L.O.C.=Liquid. Oil. Cream Once your finished with your sectioning and L.O.C, braid or twist that section and tuck it away, until, wash day or style. That's it! I hope, I answered your question.

I turned my back on grease and never again! I switched to oils and other hair products. My hair was fine with grease and my hair stop flourish when I stopped using grease. Now I use grease. To moisturize my hair while taking down braids, I use rice water mixed with pure tea tree in a spray bottle. Those alone are effective for me. Everyone hair is different but you don’t need a lot of products for your hair.

How often you grease your scalp with Indiana hemp
@NeziNappsakaNezi3 жыл бұрын
When I was using it (I'm locking my hair now and I know longer use grease) I didn't set a particular time to use it. Meaning, I have a collection of hair grease and which ever one was close, I'll use it or if I just felt like it. I also didn't have a set time to grease my scalp. I did it, as needed, such as when I had a dry, dull scalp or to reseal my moisturized twists or braids.

Why dont you ever show your hair in a fro before you stretch it? You're natural 4c, right?

Because, I don't allow my hair to fro. I don't like it, when my hair fros, because, of mats and tangles. My audience told me years, ago, that my hair is 3A, 4A and 4B, not, 4C. Since, then(2014 or 2015), I no longer make hair typing videos. Also, since I've finished my journey, I very seldom do natural hair videos.
