in some regards yeah but saying the new ending flatout beats the old is... wrong very wrong for one if you can fill a youtube montage with people trying to figure out how to target the cable you are probably doing it wrong for another the end has literally NO presence besides just groaning wheres its intimidating monologue? and one last point the new boss kinda goes down too easy (when the poorly telegraphed gameplay design doesnt get in the way) much like base game supreme and its especially too easy compared to the horseshit titan boss rush whole point was to teach you about perfect parry and the boss you are learning perfect parry for doesnt even need perfect parry to beat

Sage is possibly the greatest gift Sega has given to us in a long time, she gives Eggman another reason to live instead of trying to conquer the world. And more importantly she has such a wonderful and beautiful transformation in her character and even though she is a holographic program she also has a heart, a heart carrying the same values of a human. She has a strong heart to do what's right and fights for her father, the new friends/rivalry she's made with Sonic and his friends but she is loved by the fans. She has captured the hearts of the Sonic Community. I am so glad they changed her fate and I will so looking forward to seeing this wonderful character return.

If Sonic Frontiers was a movie released in the cinema, I could imagine hearing this version as the credits role as people either walk out of the screen room or stay until the credits finish. Whether you have the after-credits scene with Eggman getting Sage back on the computer or not is optional. The alternative after-credits scene would be Sage being welcomed in to Eggman's lair. Just as she walks through the entrance, the screen fades to black with the text "Sage and Eggman will return".

I'm With You is easily a top 3 final boss theme for me It's just so unconventional but works so insanely well You don't usually get such melancholy final boss themes in games like that. Usually they're upbeat or intense with a rock, metal, or orchestral backing. But this almost soft funk/techno track works so insanely well. This is partly why I prefer the original Frontiers ending over Final Horizon. Don't get me long I really like the new version of I'm Here, but there's just something magical and satisfying about this track Like, this really feels like you're in the last round after a grand adventure, the goal is right there in reach, but one powerful challenge awaits you after you thought you'd already won the day. And yet your hopes are high for victory because you have a powerful new ally of your own at your side.
