Sweet build. Absolute monster of a Onewheel! Any plans to upgrade it? As terrifying as it might be considering the size of this thing I really want to see this kitted out with some high end VESC gear and a beefy motor... for science ofc ;)

Hey man. I am doing same think with my dad. I was just wondering how did you make the sensors that make it stop when you jump off it. Did you disable it or somethink like that? We are currently stuck on that. I will realy appriciate a respond. Also you have realy good YT chanell. Keep up the good work :). (also sorry for my english its not my language)

I don't use those sensors anymore, I wired it so they contact all the time (so the onewheel can run without someone on it). I did it like that because I thought starting would be easier. Don't know if I was right because it's still difficult to get it going. Hope you get yours working better than mine😏. Good luck and thanks for watching!

You can try the hacked firmware, so you have full control of the PID governing your one wheel and increase a bit the power sent to the motors. You can also try a bit of overvoltage in order to increase a bit further the power (I've seen people reporting using as far as 56 volts)... There is a lot of information on the internet regarding the hacked firmware

Seriously cool project!!! 👍👍👍 I'm thinking those little hoverboard motors are seriously underpowered and undertorque for that wheel size. A 14 or 16 inch EUC hubmotor might do the trick... 🤔
