Maybe it sounds crazy but wishing and farming have different luck rates. You have to check your fortune in Inazuma or Fountain. It worked for me😅

I only have C0 Xianyun - and only because she extremely generously graced my account with her presence. Even in her trial I spent a long time messing around, jumping and diving, I was having a lot of fun but I knew I didn't have the wishes to get her. I did a 10 pull at 0 pity just hoping for a Gaming... And she was in that 10 pull. I normally don't get so lucky, but I'm SO glad I was lucky now. I won't lie... I was getting a bit bored of Genshin, but she single-handedly resurrected the game for me. She may not be the craziest, most meta-shattering character to be ever released, but she definitely is one of, if not THE most fun character they've released so far. Just jumping around when exploring, parkouring over cities just to see how far you can get without messing up, dodging enemies by flying out of their attacks and then diving at them, or killing them by continuously plunging... And with any character! It's just so much fun. :) I know I can't get lucky enough to get her C1, I mean, I already got insanely lucky with her. But this is one constellation I'm definitely interested in!

I feel it's important to spread some positivity to my favorite genshin creators lately, so for what it's worth - I always greatly enjoy your videos, building or wishing or otherwise, as your voice is really soothing to listen to and I really enjoy your not-yelling style of videos! The collabs with your friend also make really nice coversation-style listening! And lastly I've never seen someone so well executed both detail and then demonstrate how hard the 4☆ life is, but I after seeing your argument and trying myself, I really honestly agree. I started playjng at Wanderer release a year ago and it's still startling to me to see people just assume I have C6 Xingqui or Fischl or Faruzan. I *just* got C6 Faruzan on this banner after getting the free event copy and then rolling on her last run to get her! It makes 1yr or younger players really feel behind to see many other creators, even non-meta focused ones, just assume I've not played most of my time with this game relying on my C1 Fischl or C2 Xingqui and really nit seeing the big deal with them compared to other 4☆s I have equal investment in like my YaoYao or Layla. Getting Beidou ☆s has been a DRAG for real. So complaining about wishing for 4☆s in this vid is I think is justified to be groaning, and I appreciate that you still put this video out here as a kind of Proof in the Pudding content of how hard it can be and how people shouldnt feel bad they dont have them.

Pretty sure this is around average to c6 a 4-star. People don't really realize how much it takes as, in most cases, you just get 4 stars as a by-product of getting the 5 star. But if you really want to c6 some 4 star in a single banner, you realize just how much it takes, on average you will end up with around five 5 star characters when you c6 your desired 4 star, that is at the very least a c1 limited 5 star you are getting, and it's pretty much a 50/50 if you end up at c2 for the 5 star or not.

I hate how easy it is to get the wrong 4 star from wishing,first of all you can get off-banners such as a random Amber,then you can also get random 4 star weapons,such as the Rainslasher, and last but certainly not least,you can end up getting the other 2/3 of the 4 star character pool.

Yeah at I think after Binge mentioned "losing the 4 star 50/50" I succinctly described the 4 star acquisition issue best in that the problem comes down to that you CAN ose the 50/50 for 4 stars, but due to the lack of a way to guarantee the one you want, you cannot win the 50/50. It's totally rng, which even when things go statistically as expected over 200+ wishes, it feels terrible still.

Team ideas? I pulled her for Heizou. It makes building declension stacks hit sooo much harder with plunges. Very fun. Plus with C6 Faruzan and Furina my boi hits very hard. It being a triple Anemo team also makes energy needs very easy to meet.

I made that mistake too. Went to c1 Raiden, then continued to build pity for Chevy cons. Only pulled one Chevy in like 100 wishes. I also was 2 cons away from c6 Faruzan with 30 wishes left on the bank. I had to swipe for the cons. First time in over two years. Took over 100 pulls for 2 Faruzan, losing a 50/50 and getting c4 Gaming who really wants Xianyun 😢. I'm just gotta take my losses and save my guarantee for Chiori. Mono Geo is my fav mono

Yeah pulling for 4 star constellations is a recipe for disaster. And I did it twice. Once I got Ayaka, Shenhe and a couple Keqings for Diona and now for Noelle. I guess I have to build Xianyun now 😂

c1 isn't the best but what you are able to use it for is hitting E once, dive, then again, dive for super quick particles for those times when your rotations left your burst behind, or in abyss when a stage ends with suboptimal charging of bursts. or even doing E-dive (charges burst), Q, E-dive again for particles, then swap units. Definitely an option to adapt on the fly to energy needs based on what combat throws at you. i think it's also useful to help proc more stacks of her passive that gives CR for plunges when you don't get to hit 4 at once.

I did 60 pulls and didnt get a single cheveruse. then with my whole no wishes left I lose my 50/50 on nahida to c5 keqing. I also had only the free Faruzan and wanted to get C6. I wanted XY, then was expecting to maybe go to C2 Nahida (from none). I got very lucky, though! A new Tighnari, then XY, then immediately C1 Tighnari at 5 pity so my pull for Xiao is guaranteed next month, and I got C6 Faruzan all in 140 pulls. I'm very happy with that! My accidental strategy to get Faruzan was to not plan to use her at all and declare I’d sooner get 2 more Jean cons for C4 than a C6 of a new 4*. Then Hoyo said “Oh yah, how about this!” And proceeded to throw all the Faruzans at me. Got her C6 in 90 pulls before seeing a Wanderer & my Jean is still C2 til today. The only 4* pull strategy is genuine reverse psychology I guess 🤷‍♀️ I say all that to say as a 1.1 player I only have like C2 Bennett…

A trick that I do is once I roll a four star or a 5 star on a banner i wait and use any standard banner wish fates on the standard banner to build a little pity then go back to the event banner and wish again. I managed to get C4 Faruzan and C1 Xianyun since the banner released last week and wish only once or twice a day Oh and I also managed to max out Noelle in the process from C2 to C6 plus a few extras. And obtained a Fav bow and Rainslasher

In my opinion, it's less an isolated issue of "4 stars suck to acquire" or "they should give us more free pulls" and more the game's pulling system actively discourages people from engaging with it unless it's a limited 5* character due to lack of overall pulls per year, lack of fail-safe systems, and slightly predatory practices, especially in comparison to other gacha (not just Hoyo gacha, like literally all gacha to the point even FGO, notoriously bad gacha, can have more positive points in this regard). It's less that people just want free pulls and more the system isn't circulating from an economical standpoint, and it's lead up to what I would compare to the tea tax pre-American revolution. Just boycotting tea for the tax is silly, but EVERYTHING was taxed beforehand to the point people's QoL was damaged. It's kinda like saying "why the hell would you start the revolution over tea when we're being taxed over glass and paper, obviously more essential items." The two aren't entirely mutually exclusive, which is why CN players were trying to protest.

Faruzan being a subdps when shes a charged attack based damage bow wielder which, by default, makes her an ON FIELD dps?? Which would mean you need to run her as a main dps? She doesnt have any off field damage that I know of, so how can she be classified as a subdps?

It took me 170 wishes on the previous Wanderer banner and I ended up with c5 Faruzan, I had the free copy so only 4 obtained in that session. I have Xiao built so wanted C6. Pulling for CR I lost the 50/50 for her it took 120 pulls for her to come home but in that time I literally got another 8 copies of Faruzan. As you said obtaining 4stars is pain. The only benefit was the star glitter for free wishes on the next banner I want to pull on. On my alt account I got Raiden C1 in 80 wishes 30 of those were toward the guarantee for C0, but I couldn’t get enough wishes to hit pity for a 50/50 chance at c2. I got to 79 wishes and then ran out of time. On my 81st wish I won the 50/50 for Nahida. So can’t complain too much.

But resisted, glad I did as I had accepted the next time I would see her would be on wanders next banner. Reminds me of Wanderer release with Itto back in 3.3, I wanted both but I knew about the Gorou n Faruzan issue so I kinda pulled on both. 160 wishes, 1 Tighnari and c6 Faruzan later I got wander but not a single Gorou, I'm glab I didn't go for Itto on my last pulls.

I want Xianyun herself as a dps XD And Candice with her I am pulling for Faruzan copies too even though I still don`t have even Heizo. Got her from e0 to e4 in 80 pulls with winning 50/50 for CR and decided the show must go on the second banneer. But it's not that criminal, considering I don`t have Nahida either and wouldn't mind if she spooks me here.

I'm rather underwhelmed by Xianyun, honestly. I don't regret her but she just feels kind of fine to me and the plunge stuff is clunky. It may get better as I figure it out more, but compared to Baizhu I gotta say I'm not feelin' it too much in terms of expanded healer options (Baizhu might be the most underrated character in the game, it's insane). The travel is quite nice, but I have C1 Yelan and don't have C1 Xianyun so it's mostly doing hops when terrain is uneven. C6 Faruzan, on the other hand, I do not regret at all, she's great (except for the part where I don't have a dedicated Anemo DPS, but a triple Anemo cope team with Furina is still quite strong and I actually kind of like her play enough to maybe build her as a DPS). Granted, I came into this banner with her at C5, so it was a done deal very quickly. Also, I got Tighnari! Not from losing a 50/50 though, I just happened to have a Standard 10-pull. Interested to build him for the same reasons I'm interested in Faruzan: I actually kind of like Charged Shot gameplay. EDIT: I also want to try DPS Sucrose sometime, though realistically she's just less than half a Wanderer in all circumstances. But much cuter.

I don't wish for 4 stars but at the same time, I don't have any issue getting all of them at the constellations I want with 2 exceptions: Kujou Sara, because I got Raiden at 20 pity on her second banner and decided I actually dislike playing her and never pulled on a Raiden banner again (but I have managed 3 Sarahs from Standard somehow) and AMBER. I JUST WANT AMBER CONS! at least I can get her with star glitter.

nah bc I got like 4 sara’s off banner. I’d had her at like c2 for ages from off banner, got a few from yoimiya and then her c6 while wishing for nahida LMAO. now she’s at c6, but I don’t wanna use her XD

I feel like saying this somewhere, but I just got Nahida on my 3rd ten pull after winning my 50/50, considering the disaster of a shogun banner (she would not come home until 3 days were left on the banner, I have a C1 bennett, C6 Sara, and C5 Chevreuse because of it though, and I only started with a C0 Bennett too.) I'm mostly happy because it means I can save my primogems going forward. (Should mention I have a goal of getting all the archons, so I now have 3/7. Furina, Shogun, Nahida. Also F2P.) Sorry this comment is a mess. I just wasn't expecting to do a random 10 pull and get her early, so now i'm a little too worked up, lol. Especially since I was talking to myself asking Nahida to show up in the 10 pull and she did, so that shocked me even more, lmao.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm kinda glad I got the C6 Faruzan because I wasn't going to do anything with her unless I got her C6, but I REALLY want GaMing. Guess I have to finish building Faruzan now... 😮‍💨

Oof. Im slightly salty I only have C3 GaMing atm too (C6 is what makes him better than Diluc to put it simpy for anyone that doesnt know why it would be nice to have). The double GaMing pull was great but that was half of all the GaMings I got lol

Honestly, I wish they just stopped adding 4 stars. I hate them. Every time they add one, I want it to be terrible because they are so hard to get. I hate faruzan, but she's c6. with this being the only banner I ever wished on with her. But I've wished a lot on all the banners with yaoyao and kirara. Still no kirara and only one yaoyao from last lantern rite.
