I agree.. I loved watching his tournament vlogs all last season.. The recap vlogs actually helped me in my kayak tournaments by giving a direction in thinking to break down my pre-fishing and my fishing during the tournaments to help me overcome my mistakes and mindsets..

I wouldn't call it a mistake. I would call it fishing. At the end of the day, things will be what it will be. I experienced the same thing when I was in GA fishing with my Mom last week. The big girls were not chasing. Only the ones below 2lbs. I tried everything I felt would get the results I wanted. It did but I didn't get the big girls to take the bait. Proud of you my Brother!

I had a bad feeling going into this. I just never felt that good about it. I knew they were biting though. Looking back I’m still not sure what I should have done. I did force it a little bit. I didn’t trust that I wasn’t getting bites in practice. I kept thinking I was about to turn the corner and start catching em when I should have moved to another section of the lake.

I'm surprised Brian is another pro who doesn't totally depend on forward scan fish locators. He uses lures to tell him what he wants to know. The "new" fisherman cast lures to fish they see on the screen. They know how deep and how far away the fish are. They present lures to the fish and watch them hit the lures. It's seems to be much more efficient, No wasted casts, no wasted time on spots that are not holding fish. But IMO that's not fishing!. The downside is, the fishermen who are good at it, seem to be winning more often these days! Guys are going to have to change or be left behind. Sad truth!
