I made a BOOTLEG figure. (More like "kitbashed".) | How To Make A Custom Action Figures

Here's how I made a kitbashed figure, using cheap or broken figures.
I talk about the terminology of bootleg, kitbashing, and all that. Interchangeable words type situation.
I made the music using sample packs I purchased, mixed together in a program called Reaper.

I agree, I've been trying to figure out which resin to make jewelry with. I've been using EnviroTex Pour-On. Sometimes it stays sort of soft, no matter how accurate I try to be with pouring weight and mixing, it's just never consistent for me.

Thank y'all for the suggestion! I have to say, there's not TOO much to it - I just have these sample libraries I've purchased over the years, which I put together in my audio program, "Reaper". The libraries used in this video are "Vintage 70's Breakbeats" and "Stranger Synths". In previous videos, I've used Commodore 64 and Nintendo samples. :)

Thanks for the feedback! You talking about the squishy-squish inserts? I've used some really soft materials before, like Smooth-On Eco Flex 30 and Smooth-On Dragon Skin. I'm not sure how long they would hold up in a shoe, but they are fairly resilient.

Another awesome video tutorial! Here’s a bit of Star Wars nerd lore: the hammerheads (Ithorians) have a mouth on both sides of their heads, so they talk in stereo. First of all that was the first time Toys R Us did a midnight opening, that was like "yes, we get that adults like toys too, here you go." Another term for this type of figure making is just simply, "Customized action figures." Custom action figures can go from something as simple as swapping parts to completely sculpting figures from scratch. BTW, funny you have the Adventure People action figures and Star Wars figures in the same video. I say it's funny because Kenner, who also handled the Fisher-Price toys, actually used Adventure People action figures as the bases for customized action figures to make concept figures of the first wave of Star Wars figures: www.toys2remember.com/2010/07/star-wars-adventure-people.html
