1:43 I believe that’s a hydra. They’re known for eating worms, small crustaceans, baby fish, young insects and larval mollusks. They’re basically immortal.

i went to a pond and made an ecosphere but my dad says that the water will eventually rot, will that happen??

If it has plants and a small amount of living organisms inside it shold be fine for a long time. Just leave it in a spot with sunlight

Unfortunately, ecospheres like these are unsustainable because the organisms have adapted to flowing water. If you want to try a stagnant ecosphere, try a lake.

They are sustainable just have a harder time surviving for long periods of time. But you are right lakes are better for ecospheres

Hey my friend. Can you give details on how one keeps such an ecosphere? How much warmth it needs or can tolerate? How much light? Is indirect light enough or does it need indirect sunlight or even direct one?
@fishyfishy4659
@fishyfishy4659 2 жыл бұрын
I just kept it in my window, with mostly indirect sunlight, direct sunlight is good too as long as the water does not get too warm. Also temperature changes should be somewhat slow. This way it thrived, until i moved it to a dark place
