The streamer at 31:10 absolutely captures the sublime satisfaction of solving a Hitman level/contract with green guns after multiple attempts and strats. Hitman is ultimately a puzzle game where each puzzle can be solved with your own invented solutions. (Check out IOI reacting to campaign speedrun world records- they were shocked and impressed and admitted that they never imagined a map like Dubai could be SASO’d so quickly). ❤

1:46:04 Damn, I actually had almost the exact same Route, but he just made the first three kills faster to get the Veteran in an earlier window were he doesn't get seen and found the window near Blake instead of taking the stairs. Great run! Glad that route made the vid, I knew it had a lot of potential when I came up with something similar, just couldn't make it quite as fast.

That one and this one are not on the same level, I think. The last one was supposed to be a mini boss fight leading to this one, that's why not much planning was put into it. This one went smooth because it's one contract for everyone and it's been months in the making I believe.

atrioc the harpist doesn't have 1 hp all characters in the hitman game that sits down dies from a thrown item its a common fact about the game. (And also linkus doesn't need to throw the harpist body away because the angle of her body is enough so that people cant find it, if the two gaurds patrolling the area are distracted.)

really wish i had more time to perfect my run. i had a chapel suit only run and i did the same boost and killed the guard. except after i had went straight down and went to the waiter at the entrance. my mastery was low and chapel seem to have a good route to get all in one go. only problem was timing. the last dude in the mansion. only way i could align them going the route i was, was waiting like 30 secs for him to walk pass a door and i can shoot the gas can i set by it. i have 4 dead at like right at 2 min and my time was 3:30. wasted a good min on him. really killed the run. but suit only was still nice. theres a reason my mastery is low on that map lol. great contract tho i enjoyed it, very satisfying doing suit only on anything. also like how the dude who did the boost also used the codename 47 suit.

I think the guys who do breech and muffin boosting is F**KING lame. Try beating the contracts with no exploits and show your real skills. Speed running is a genre within itself, which I love, minus going out of bounds to do it.

Hello, one of the runners from the video here! My first iteration of the route didn't use any glitches, was about 30 seconds slower than my final time, and was incredibly boring and uninteresting to watch. I think a lot of the appeal of speedrunning is seeing how far you can push the game to its limits to beat something as fast as possible I agree there is some merit to (and demand for) glitchless runs, but that has its own community and categories. It just isn't as big or involved a community. Maybe there's a reason for that. Anyway, if you have a glitchless run for this contract, I would love to see it! If not, good luck on next years competition!
