Hey man, quick tip. To search for the trait that you needed on blue gear you don't need to go through all blue gear individually to check prices. You can click the filter button and change it to search for traits with the check box and filter it by blue rare items. It will then bring you all of them on 1 screen with cheapest at the top. Hope this helps :)

Also, you can farm blessing on cheapest trait, and use blessing to 100% upgrade expensive traits. If I have a gear with some stupid trait that goes for 10 - 20 I don't remove it, I max it with blues farming blessings along the way, and then I can use blessings for traits I want to keep.

There are plenty of ways to get gear to trait your gear out besides the auction house. Like this morning for instance I was doing resistance contracts before work and opened the purple bag and got a hit chance purple weapon that I needed for my daggers. Free 100% upgrade chance. A lot of people are just complaining that it actually takes time and effort to min max their setup. Get over it.

Doing the weeklys unlocks potential purple loot for the future so that at the end of the week you can choose one and get it for free; also doing dungeons (the channel "Grubs" explains those perfectly in 5 mins!!), the purple pouches in resistance contracts can give purples, lithograph book unlocks, farming the lvl 20 dungeon gives some good tank gear and interesting pieces (it costs so little dungeon tokens that you can farm it on repeat and full trait those pieces, and my personal advice is to get into groups in the open world dungeons to farm the mobs with the abysal tokens to get solant, matts and a chance to get purples. Do not forget to craft and upgrade your skills. Another tip: you can disolve purple materials to get a lot of blue matterials and those blue ones you can again dissolve to get a hell lot of greens. This works on everything! Gear upgrade growstones, skill upgrades, materials for gear, all! Yet another tip: the free coincs the devs give you can be used to purchase purple skill books that you can then disolve to upgrade your green/blue skills, that way you end up having all your skills at least purple 1. That helps a lot in with your role. Also the blue gear you get do not disolve it if you dont want it, check the trait price on the auction house and then extract and sell the trait. Been doing that for a couple of days and so far I have 110 lucent. Not crazy, but hey, it stacks up for basically doing nothing lol

Top tips. To unlock new trait you need the Exact same item with the new trait. To upgrade that trait it’s the same slot. Use the filter options on the AH to find cheaper versions of that trait. As if it’s a rare weapon the traits are likely much more expensive that some more common epics. Hope that helps.

It doesn't automatically apply the current blessing at 100% because you might want to use it for another trait. It's not useless if you keep feeding blues into this purple piece. You might feed two purple debuff durations into this piece for a guaranteed uograde but still gamble with blue max health ones where you can use the blessing at some point.

In theorie it need to be only 5 time cheaper than the purple one cause you have 10 tries at 10% in avrage = 1 success but you also gain blessin for the 11th try to be at 100% so in avrage it's 11 try with blue for 2 trait upgrade ( math didn't work on my bow but it's an avrage ) so if you do all of your equipement this way you should have enoth try to be around the avrage mark and still be saving lucnet by going for purple if it's only around 5 time cheaper hope it make sens ans sorry for the tipo i'm French so english writing isn't my biggest strenght

Putting the first trait onto an item has to be the same item trait, but the 2nd 3rd can be of a different type but of the same trait name obviously.

0:33 - or just do what I do and hoard items with the stats you want. I got my purple pants and have 10 of 12 traits just by throwing a crap ton of blues I had at it. It says you have a 10% chance but it seems to upgrade every 4-6 pieces. Also fully traiting a blue is nice but its 5 points per 1% increased chance meaning youll spend 450 blessings to guarantee an upgrade on the purple meaning you only get 2 guaranteed. Which while nice also means you used 6+ items to full trait a blue. You could have either just saved them for the purple traiting or you could have sold them for lucent and just bought a purple of the same trait to guarantee the upgrade. I feel like either way works fine. But the money you can make on some of the blue traits makes it a bit more advantageous to just not max a blue out. Just my personal opinion from traiting my gear.

this does not count for every piece of gear. for cape specifically the blue traits are quite expensive but with some other gear you should use blue traits to upgrade your purple gear.

I hate the idea that they implement success/fail chance when upgrading gear. Its a disease that the gaming industry is using all too often. It's sad that a game is meant to relieve stress and entertain but you can't do that when you have to use real money in order to play it. I get that they need to make money, but its Amazon! How much more do they need? I'd rather pay 50 or 60 bucks straight up for a game and be able to progress for free than get a free game in which I have to spend possibly hundreds in order to get just decent gear. This is ruining games for many of us. Sadly. And this is a fun game too. That's the sad part. But the more I play, the more I keep hearing "money money money money MONEY!" blue is more worth it… on average it takes 7 blues to purple. you get a base chance 10% which could hit on those 8 tries. if not the built blessings could always work at like 70/80%. just don’t sell any gear that have the stats your end game gear of that slot needs. that’ll save you buying them on auction

This video is very confusing for me and here is why: 1. You keep saying that its not worth buying blues and purple is just easier, but if you are cheaper with blue, they are always better, since you have 10/11(idk the number i think you get 8% per failed upgrade?) times the 10% chance to upgrade, which in long term will give you some earlyer taps which then lets you use a lot Less then if you buy a purple 2. What i dont understand yet is why ppl say to not use blessing because in my math mind, having each tab a 18% chance just gives you overall higher chances + (this is not a safecall because idk if this system works like this) you dont lose the blessing on the gear you had if you succeed one of the 10% while having blessing, correct me tho if this works like this!

You got it if the blue is cheaper by around 1/10th (maybe less I'm not sure the optimal math here) the price of the purple. Then theblue is way better. In the video tho I was buying blues for about 1/5 or 1/6th the price so I could have saved buy buying purple. That said I have now learned a better way now. If 1 trait is expensive and 1 is cheap lvl the cheap with blues to build blessing and use the blessing on the expensive trait. Sorry for the confusion. This video was when I was still learning the trait system and I was very confused too.

Its not relly 10% chance. It is 10%chance to upgrade and 8% chance in blessing added. So if purple is 400lucent, buying blue trait is ok if it costs 72 lucent or less. You didn't do too big of a mistake.

It’s not THAT punishing to not get it to 7.3 level before feeding the blue. Only 3,4%. Also, you lose all the traits anyway for blessing that gives you 2 sure blessings for the traits. Bro you are still doing it wrong 😢 If you want to save money, you need to transfer a biz (full lvl, full traits) blue item to an epic item, then buy the cheaper traits and make it a epic full tash traits, transfer it to another epic item (that carries over all blessings from full traits), do this process until your final item (the one you want to use with right traits) have 4200 blessing. With that number you can use the blessings to make blue extracted traits completing sucessfully. You may need to use pink stones to open traits

If you feed a level 9 blue to a 0 purple it will be like lvl 4 with half percent (not sure about the exact number here). So by upgrading purple to 7 and %33 above you save a lot of growthstones since every tier cost more growthstones as you upgrade.

Se você é um player de full PVP, faz sentido ficar gastando lucente aos montes igual esse cara do video. Pois no final só vai te sobrar o PVP. Agora se não for, não vai ter nada pra você fazer no jogo depois…

- In a few months this game will have sub 20k players and so many people will regret dumping money into this game, just like we saw in Lost Ark. - The end game is weak, the content is repetitive and stale. The gear crafting is almost a predatory as Lost Ark. - The gear is boring and all feels the same, no significant impact in gameplay whatsoever. - The PvP is incredibly boring and requires no skill, only gear score. - World PvP is a zerg fest where the top guild with there alliances who've scooped up all the PvPers runs over everyone with there wallets. - Events are fun for the first few times but become incredibly repetitive and more of a task than fun. - The world bosses are some of the worst "bosses" I've ever seen, giant sponges that don't require a tank nor mechanics to avoid. Another dead MMO within a year.

So, in order to make lucent, to sell anything, to then be able to buy anything from the AH, u gotta spend ornate coins for blue or purple ink, to make that empty Lithograph, to then extract the Item onto it. Correct? So u only get the ink with ornate coins?

No you can also buy them weekly from contract coin shop. Weekly limit is 50.

nah you can also sell the traits for the gear as well, you can get tons of those stones from the contract coin shop as well. If you get a nice trait on a purple item they can sell for 500+ lucent

So does anyone know why I can't transfer my blue cloak onto my purple cloak? I have the same setup as seen here. Purple cloak with lv7 ~38%. Level 9 blue cloak with maxed traits. The purple cloak does not appear in my transfer menu whatsoever. Why is this like this?

If you already transfered a blue piece into it you cannot do it again. That's what I think is happening there.

im getting sick of games that punish you for not knowing what they didn't explain at all even once. I have to youtube so many thing. Even the weapon skills I maxed my character before I even noticed the long ass upgrade paths that uses the contract mission things. None of the systems are explained. What happened to playing a game and learning its mechanics? its no fun when it feels like a job.
