i don’t think that’ll be the case this year. i think he chose the Royals for that reason. I think he wants to win a title in 3-5 years and have them setup to run baseball in simulation world

something i recommend is go to sliders under settings and turn down sim trade frequency at the bottom i usually go one above the lowest, it really helps teams actually keep some of their prospects because at default there’s like 50+ trades a year most for big players and or propects

Might not be a bad idea to look at free agents mid season if you have a bad hole that needs fixed and don't have any mlb ready prospects. Could check it for younger prospects who maybe didn't sign with a team as well, can't remember when they show up

Honestly it’d be cool towards the end of baseball season before you start with madden again to sim the team a few years to be able to actually play with the prospects you drafted. I felt like you got some good draft picks in reds franchise and never got to use them.

@6:55 look at close at the player when doing rookie contracts.(bonus demand) You're giving them money based of the selection and not what the player wants. 9/10 times the player is asking FOR LESS than the slot. Hope this little detail helps all the franchise players here. If anyone else has tips us know lol

Loving the series!!! Just a suggestion. It might be BONKERZZZ!!! lol quite crazy really…But I’d just SEE what Bobby Witt jr. would yield. with all the young talent you’ve just gotten like here 11:38… I think it wouldn’t be unrealistic. You’ve tore down the roster in a way that’ll make you a dynasty long term yet a wildcard contender and a loss in round 2 if lucky short term. I’d aim to tank. Hoping next year you land a top 3-5 pick and draft a ohtani caliber 2 way player. (Just not gambling 😂💯) with cross, jones, and the rookie…developing that outfield is key….getting off witt. opens alot of interesting possibilities. you can definitely shore up and stabilize a bullpen off one trade. or build up the farm system even more. i just think cleaning house little by little and out with the old GM strategy and in with the new makes sense. pasquintana, perez, witt jr. just gotta go. hell….those 3 in a trade get you a haul. JUST MY LONG ASS SUGGESTION!

Spencer jones will get moved to 1B .. he def won’t be a center .. I say that becuase rizzo is up in age & it’ll be his best chance to get called up

Jones may not be a CF but I'm not sure he gets moved to 1B, he's got pretty good speed. Outfield of Jones/Dominguez/Judge in 2 years feels like a real possibility Easier said that done to move to 1B even though we generally consider that to be the easiest position

At what point would you consider changing the hitting settings? Every at bat is just a ground ball double play. You don't want to make it too easy, I get that, but it's only for moments and I'm sure there can be a medium between guaranteed hit or easy out.
