Amazing work Justin! I'm a new subscriber :) I've seen a lot of electronic chess sets, but this is truly incredible that you were able to make this from scratch! If you are looking to improve upon your design, e-chess company Square Off has two sets, the Grand Kingdom and SWAP boards that can move pieces on their own. They have videos on how those boards were designed and how they work on KZbin. I may not have any coding or engineering skills, but I am familiar with chess. Perhaps you'd be interested in collaboration for a future video with your chess in inventions?
