I'm not a tradey, more home DIY and give it a go type, but this channel is constantly giving me huge inspiration to get my home tool bag in order!

I hate how much he makes me want to spend money on tools on the average video, I've done two lots of shadow foam for my draws and 100% worth it like. I tried the cheaper foam for my batteries and it is genuinely terrible, I hate to be the guy that bought into the scheme but the shadow foam seems to be holding up far better than what I thought it would. Buy cheap buy twice I guess. Sorry Jono. ❤

And me. I'm already measuring up for some inserts for my toolbox and debating redoing the foam in my Dewalt box

I really like to see boxes like these repurposed!

So do I! There’s still life in them yet! 👍

Absolutely awesome bit of recycling. Definitely going to have to get some foam for my dewalt case and re organise it.

That’s the best way of recycling 👏👏👍👍

Thats a superb idea and a smart reuse of an old product!
@ShadowFoamАй бұрын
Thanks mate, appreciate that! Always happy to recycle on this channel!

Hi Johnathon, what a neat find. Nice to see how to reuse the box. That was a great layout to get all the tools in and still close.

Nice bit of upcycling, not seen a Makita box like that one before, must be years old!

Great vid as always, I love the Idea of saving old boxes, that otherwise would go to waste

Great idea to use an old case that would normally end up in the trash. But I still like my toughbuilt stacktech system so far

Nice conversion there. And saving money too

That’s what I like to do! Save a bit of cash 😅

Nice video, mate. I think you can get a lot more in that pack in the video I saw there was a bit of space in the pack. You could add more space like more batteries or maybe some drill bits something small to fit the gap.
@ShadowFoamАй бұрын
Completely agree with you mate! 👍

I have quite a few Bosch power tools each of which has a box so watching this made me think about adapting each of those boxes and having al the tools together in one large Milwaukee MN18 box or similar

Sweet pickup on that old box and a nice job. I hate blow moulded cases, they're just too big and cumbersome. Perhaps you should expand your offers and team up with a company to offer your own boxes complete with your foam inserts?
@GaryLeishmanАй бұрын
Nice one. Win, win, win all round.
@stephenbatterbee2065Ай бұрын
That's impressive 😁 another good video. That would be great as a starter box for an apprentice. With the foam it can be changed as and when new tools get added.
@007bondportАй бұрын
Love Friday nights with shadow foam videos and a nice cold beer , just about to transfer everything from my old Stanley tool trolley to my nice new Milwaukee trolley , then decide how much shadow foam I’m going to need , what size thickness shall I go for the bottom box and should I put the power tools in this one ohh the excitement , going to go back and watch your Milwaukee videos ❤

My Makita jigsaw is made in the UK. So I assume that all of the tools are too and the box was manufactured in china. Would be nice to do a Makita livestream after you have finished doing your drawers. See you Monday Jona and team.

Makita still makes some tools in UK. Even I own a Makita random orbital sander made in UK. Makita also have loads other factories around the world and not only China. I would think next to Chinese factory, their other biggest are one in Romania and Japan. Add, Brazil, USA, Thailand and saw someone got one made in Germany.

Loved the video! Just one observation when you were using the multi-tool you didn't wear safety glasses, believe me you don't want plastic in your eye its not nice. I noticed that there was quite a large pile of scrap pieces from all the cut outs and I was wondering what happens to them all, do they get recycled, apologies if you have answered this in a previous video. Loved the budget Case especially as you can fit so many tools in it.
@ShadowFoamАй бұрын
Yes good catch! I’ll wear them in future! All off-cuts are baled and recycled at a local recycling facility
