My friend. Just found your cannel. You are for the most part right and sometimes bigger CC’s is more power yes, “but” not always I love echo’s I personally use echo 2620T around 25 cc engine. The ( cc ) rating is actually is not combustion cycle. Its stands for cubic centimeters of displacement. Metic I know I know. I’m from Canada 🇨🇦 but we are all still human no matter where we live. Cheers from up north and keep up the great videos.

You’re 100% correct my friend. I definitely screwed up on that one. I had to go back and listen to it. I appreciate you making sure the community is receiving the correct info. You’re pretty knowledgeable in the field and welcome to pass it down in this community. I’ll make a video and make to give you a shout out! You’re comment will be pinned also. Thanks for your support my Canadian friend!

This video is spot on. When I first started 16 years ago I did the same thing and wished I would have listened to all the people on KZbin telling me to spend a little more now and save a lot later! Fast forward to today and all of our stuff is Sthil (trimmers), Echo (saws and bed edgers) and Husqvarna (backpack blowers). None of these units give us much grief and they have mad hours on them. Other than carbs, pull ropes, coils and new spark plugs. These are all things that wear out no matter the OEM that made it. In the end, time is money, especially in this business. It's a great feeling knowing that when you pull the rope, it goes "Varrooom" and setbacks are few and far between from equipment hassles. Remember that all three of these Co's make two levels of equipment, consumer and pro. The box stores have mostly consumer junk designed to be trashed after 30 hours of use When you buy the commercial stuff, don't go to Home Depot thinking your saving $$. If you are gonna' move up and spend more cash, find a local dealer and buy it there. It may be $30 more (or less?) but remember, if there is an issue down the road that dealer has a vested interest in your biz and that big box store could give a flyin' F*# AND they don't handle any warranty or service work. When that happens Lowes or, HD will tell you to find an authorized service center and you end up at the same place you should have gone to in the first. They will probably fix it but since you are not their customer the repair moves to the end of the line (Rightly so). As mentioned in the vid, use straight shaft trimmers and put fresh grease in the tube every Spring. Doing this will make your Echo, Sthil or Husqvarna trimmer last longer than you! AND, your grandkids will be using it to trim the old folks home your at!, Lol Don't get too caught up on which Co made your commercial trimmer. As long as you know it's not cheap stuff? you'll be fine. Just like when guys say Chevy is best? and then two other guys will wanna' fight them cause' everyone knows that Ford or Dodge is #1. Truth is, all 3 make fairly decent trucks so......

I really appreciate all the great info. Would love to pick your brain sometime. I’ve spent 20 yrs in retail and all the info you mentioned from CO’s and customer service I agree with 100 percent. I preach on the channel to make sure wherever you buy your equipment from make sure there’s a dealer close for repairs. I may do video on how important it is to have a relationship with your local dealer, they have the keys to a lot of gates in this business. Again I truly appreciate the info you’ve provided the community. Hope to keep in touch I want all the knowledge I can get!

Bought mine three years ago. It is an absolute unit. By FAR, the best "pound for pound" trimmer I've had in the last 25 years.
