Another thing you can do is get the neurothrope head spike thing from the zoanthropes kit and use it to make it look more distinguished as a neurothrope, great video!

I love how you use milliput, in fact while watching this now, my swarmlord's milliput is drying from the vid you showed, i actually prefer the pose you can do with that one so it works out to look cool and save money, you are the savior of tyranid players and saving money while looking bad ass on the board haha.

Fortunately i had some extra bits for the neurothrope since i made some Venomthropes. i had to use a torso from a tryanid prime

i keep coming back to look at this model! It just looks so good, kinda shows, putting you're own effort and love into something always makes it more special. Im probably going to make this for myself even though i have a neurothrope :P Trevor did you paint the brain in the same way as the zoanthropes? It looks better, somehow

I'm trying someting very similar, but with the hive tyrant body, the tail of the flying one and some spare parts! Still trying to understand if i'll have a spare head to use from the zoantrophe kit!

The Zoanthrope kit only comes with 3 heads if I recall correctly!

I've literally done the same thing for my neurothropes, however I used the long tongue from the carbifex head as the tail piece.

Yes I have read the rules! Zoanthropes minimum unit size is 3 so you cannot take 2 zoanthropes and a neurothrope :) perhaps you should try reading the rules too! wahapedia.ru/wh40k9ed/factions/tyranids/Zoanthropes
