Thanks for your easy to follow tutorial and tips/tricks. I am beginner with epoxy -- gathering information for use in 2023 on pouring paint projects. Setting up art studio now for use then. In the meantime, I have home decor projects where foils would be just the zing and bling to bring them to top level for me. I love the tip where you crinkled the foil up to give it body and make it easier to work with (which I suppose reduces static electricity? so foil doesn't stick to your arm or to itself -- like it does with duct tape)?? Cool that you added text to this multi-media project as well as gold foil pen outlining. I am praying for your friend for a peaceful transition.

HI Ronda, i love this idea. it's something I started and never finished by using pictures from a magazine, lol I still have the unfinished work, so yes great Idea. also, I love the foiling with epoxy, I want to try that one day,

How come you sand it since epoxy is glossy?

You have to create a tooth for the next layer of epoxy or the UTC to adhere to. The scratches will disappear one the epoxy or UTC is applied.

The UTC is very stain resistant but in my opinion, there’s nothing thats really stain proof. I’ve tested just about everything and I’ve had anything I couldn’t remove except hair color. I use and recommend La’s Totally Awesome. You can buy it on Amazon or most Dollar stores. 😊
