This reminds me of a legend I heard a few years ago about a creature called the whowie. It’s a legend from Australian Aboriginal mythology, basically it’s about a large frog/toad like creature that would terrorize villagers at night and swallow them while while they slept, eventually the various tribes of the land banded together and they killed the creature. It’s a really cool story so I totally recommend looking it up.

I love everything about this monstrosity, from the roller that icked me out long after it was no longer visible to the excessively flesh like tongue. I’m especially impressed by the texture in the toenails, though - this build hit absolutely every body grossness button I have, and yet was so much fun to watch. A lot of other people add things to make the creatures realistic and horrifying, like they'll add teeth to likitung or whatever, but your stuff always finds existing horror in what's already there and it's a lot more faithful. Keep up the good enough work!

Everything about this is nightmare-inducing and I love it more than words can express. You don't need them because your textures are already perfection, but I thought you might have a fun time browsing Olander Earthworks' texture/sensory balls - lots of interestingly weird patterns! Technically for playing in sand, but I bet they'd be really neat in clay too.

Awesome! Just so awesome! I feel so bad pointing out a flaw...the direction of the salival drip doesn't seen right. Given the position and implied velocity of the tongue I'd have given saliva a different angle. I know much more work to build up those layers. Just being harshly critical. Again do awesome!
