The top half is just a granny hexagon cardigan, so there's plenty of great tutorials on youtube. The bottom half I free-handed but I'd like to do a video on how I created it at some point.

As a bibliophile, this is my idea of a horror movie - watching someone hack up a book. Especially the hardcover with dustjacket format preferred by book collectors. Really hoping you checked the value first on something like abebooks or bookfinder or even amazon.

I can relate, there's a part of me that cringed doing it but a) the massive collection of books is worthless (in terms of $$ at least) and b) every place we've inquired about donating them straight up told us they'd be thrown out. I'd rather repurpose them in a craft project then have them sitting in a landfill somewhere.

For the bottom half, no (I made that up as I went along) but the top half is just a basic granny hexagon cardigan and there are a tonne of patterns for them just on KZbin. I'm with you're daughter on this one, you should definitely make one lol.

A quick word on the audio: I'm very easily distracted by bad audio and/or annoying voices or pronounciation. It didn't happen with your video. (Though I can't say if there's a problem with stereo, since I use a mono Bluetooth speaker). Your audio is not perfect, but far, far from unbearable, so don't worry bout it too much 🙂
