Nice panels. Think my favorite is the one you plan to make for yourself. Your skinny quilt looks perfect for a 2 year old! Abstaining from chocolate for a while, my blood sugar has creapped up on me & I'm getting ready for knee replacement surgery. Working on baby quilt my mom hand embroidered several years ago; it will be for our great-granddaughter #3. Grandchildren & great-grandchildren are fun & keep us young at heart.

I got the fat quarter bundle of that fabric. In it was the kitty fabric in orange and purple. I made those into placemats for my sister's grandkids. The fabrics can be scary to little kids. So I figured that they each would get one each Halloween for the next 3 years. They loved the idea of it glowing in the dark. I think that they'll end up in their bedrooms instead of the dining table. Which is great with me. The other side was doggies dressed up in hats and scarves for winter.

I just discovered you, today. You clicked with me like only a few others who do sewing/quilting videos do. You have a naturalness about your presentation which feels very comfortable; you edit out everything that just isn't necessary for the viewer to suffer through; and you seem like a normal, every day person. The more I watched the video, the more it occurred to me, "Oh, my gosh! It's my twin sister!" Then I saw you have at least one cat that likes to sew with you. So do I. Then I saw you have at least one of the same machines (the Viking) as I do. Then you commented on your background, and I do sew with reckless abondon, but your sewing area is definitely neater than mine. Then I realized you have the same body shape as I do! O.M.G.!!! Loved your encouragement on using panels. I don't dislike panels. I have a lot of them to do something with so I obviously liked them enough t buy them. Now I'm going to go watch some more of your videos. So happy to be a subscriber. BTW, cute, cute grand daughter, who, I bet, made you put that spider ring on. LOL.

That quilt turned out so cute with that panel. I never thought of making a quilt with just a panel and borders but that is darling. I also bought the panels at the busy lady the last time I saw you there of the Nights of Olde Salem. I also bought the accent material that goes with it because I love glow in the dark quilts. I used that very cute purple witch pattern last year. I just hand quilted around the houses and pumpkins and kitties turned out really cute i use it as a lap quilt. Iused the block in ablo block square for the big border. Turned out really cute and it glows.

You find the best panels! I think another reason quilters shy away from panels is because sometimes the they are printed a little cockeyed. That makes it frustrating to square up and stay on the straight of the grain. I did a cute Christmas panel for a wall hanging a few years ago, and it was terrible. Where do you get your panels?

I mostly get them at the small quilt shops I visit -- so really from everywhere! Check out busy lady quilt shop in MT WASHINGTON Ky They have a website and I love their panels ❤️

My cat stayed on top of big containers of fabrics then jumped down onto my big Brother Dreamweaver Sew/Embroidery machine. After a few times of her doing this my machine timing etc was off. Cost me plenty to have it repaired. Be careful sewers with cats. I know have a weed shelf above my machine so kitty does not land on my machine.
