I need more horizontal storage in the studio. In this video, I make the table top for a new desk using mainly scraps of pine wood and valchromat.

More City Scape Scrap end pieces!! This gave me a great idea! I have a stainless steel counter in wheels, like u find in restaurants, that I currently use as a dining table. Is great work area from baking to getting seeds started indoors. The stainless steel compliments my appliances & black concrete counters. The down side is not having good leg room when more than 2 are seated. Having more scrap than I have room for this would b a great project. I can add magnets to the under side or add trim so the wood top won't move about. When not in use I can hang it on the wall. Isn't that what the call "art deco"? 🤣🤣 Looking forward to more over ur wonderful projects & drooling over ur tools. No longer having a plainer or joiner I regularly use my router creating jigs- ur new toy is really nice. Reminded me of jigs we've made w aluminum ladders to cut boards from logs using chainsaw. Keep waiting for u to start processing ur own lumber....

It is better to accept imperfections in final look, because as there is a lot of soft wood, it will get damaged anyway while using it. It will receive plenty of small dents and imperfections over time anyway. Can't wait to see you buil the cabinet under that table top. Happy new year and thanks for the amazing content !
