How are we feeling about the v-part wig "controversy?" Let me know what you think in the comments below ⬇

I tried it last night. I've white person's hair and so i think I'll need to back comb and use more clips but I'm blown away by how good it looks and natural. I could hug all the women that showed me how to do this, i had initially thought it was just an idea in my head but everyone's doing it and it's brilliant. Great for women with thinning hair too

Great video. I appreciate the tutorial. Has anyone tried to make a v-part wig from the synthetic units? How did the blend in go?
@jaichanellie2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! You know what, that's a great thought! I may have to try that with one of my older yaki-textured synthetic units

I have! I tried it on a human/synthetic blend. Worked great!

@@85myway Ooh blends are so slept on but they be coming through! So glad to hear it worked for you.

Did this method make the wig bigger in the back? Those clips do hurt…try sewing it down with anchor braids.
@jaichanellie2 жыл бұрын
Slightly yes, you just have to have a pretty good way of tacking it down in the back. I don’t usually sew my wigs down because I like being able to take it off!

I'm so glad I found your video! I'm going to make my own vpart wig lol

This is literally what I’ve been doing 😂 I was confused about what made people spend extra for a v wig instead of just cutting a lace lol. This style was 🔥 you’re such a doll.
@jaichanellie2 жыл бұрын
You been on the wave 🌊 Lol and the prices are similar to regular lace wigs so it’s really not a huge sale or advantage to be buying a v-part! Thank you Ashley 🥰❤️

Do you just cut a straight line on yours or do you cut an actual v? Because I'm worried the back of the cap will end up too big if I just cut a straight line

Yes mam I'll be trying this !!

Yes especially if you have a curly unit! It would look SO natural with a lil bit of leave out. Unfortunately this wig’s natural texture does NOT match my own 💀
@CammyjOfficial2 жыл бұрын
First of allll… you got skills!! Cause honey, I would never be able to revamp a wig and actually have it look like something.

Thank you! I’ve done SO much with this wig lol, there’s a chunk of hair missing in the back from when i wanted my braids to have human hair ends 🤫💀

Also Truepart Textures.
@jaichanellie2 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t that company make the Truepart line? Or am I confused.
@Danisimonecouture2 жыл бұрын
@@jaichanellie it’s two different companies. One is Truepart Textures and the other is Innovative Weaves. I know Truepart was filing a patent. I heard of Innovative after them but I don’t know who was first
@jaichanellie2 жыл бұрын
@@Danisimonecouture now that I’m looking at their stuff I’ve heard of both of them before! Innovative wigs/weaves used to call their closures “true root” so that’s what was throwing me off! Thanks for the reminder about them!
