I made an Amazing Wood Shredding Machine

I decided to build such a device because it will always come in handy at a country house. I also have a lot of things that are needed to make a chipper, so the whole project should not be expensive.
The housing is made of 12 mm thick flat bar, which makes it very strong and rigid. Large UCF208 bearings should also cope with overloads without any problems.
The knives are sharpened at an angle of about 60 degrees. The material from which they are made is so hard that I could only cut it with an angle grinder. You can forget about drilling in this.
All screws are hardness class 8.8. For additional safety, there is a spring washer under each screw.
Machine is driven by 3kW / 4Hp 3 Phase electric helical gear motor which reduce the rotation of the mechanism to 200 rpm.
