www.amazon.com... - tools we use (also Evolution)
You know that we really like machines for wood, branches, etc. That's why we decided to make another such machine.
This time we used a combustion engine with a power of 7 HP (actually it is probably 4 HP), a 1:100 planetary gear and a cutting mechanism of our own making.
Unfortunately, as you saw, the gear seized up and stopped. I'm not sure what the reason was, but I suspect two possibilities.
The gears were already a bit worn and I didn't know about it because I didn't look inside before starting the project or 3600 engine rpm was too much for this gear. From what I remember, it worked with a 1400 rpm engine and maybe that's the problem.
Life goes on and you have to move on to another project. Maybe we'll come back to this ;)

Two thoughts_1) Maybe make those blades replaceable. 2) At least heat treat and temper the blades if you are going to ing to welded them in place,then they’ll last a bit longer.

Since this failed it could end up being a blessing with a little imagination. I'd experiment with various worm gears from different tools/machinery, or chain/belt drive etc. Btw, I'd rather watch one of your rare "fail" videos than most success videos from other channels. I hope you don't give up on this just yet. God bless. [edit]: Here in the U.S. certain marketplaces have a "free" section with old broken tools/machinery to use for parts.

I think a dual chain reduction drive: main shaft to an idler shaft, then back to main shaft with sprockets and chains; fairly inexpensive and robust, and will fit into the same space. Two ten to ones gives 100, and first is 360 rpm, and second is 36 rpm. Pro Tip: don't get your fingers caught in that 🙂

this is the first branch breaker that I have seen that pinches the branch from one side, I can only think that that creates the need for more pressure on the bearings and the gears, in order to break the branch, since it has to push the blade clear through the branch, other wise it was a good build, and a SUCESS, just needs some tweaking.

the gears arent misaligned. its a harmonic drive. the issue is that it once had water in it and rusted. someone cleaned up the rust. the teeth look chewed up. maybe a piece of metal got in there and mangled them all up. or perhaps it was wrongly reassembled cause it had more slop in it after the cleanup

people are suggesting worm gear. I like worm gear and use one in a much lower torque application now. But one large enough for this must be very expensive. To make one on your own has challenges. For one, my understanding is it is not as simple as a screw, because there is pitch involved. Also, it changes the orientation of the machine to 90 degrees at the shaft rather than straight. I suppose you could use two smaller worm gears, though, to get it back in line with the engine shaft. This might be a good idea since two half sized worm gears is likely cheaper than a full sized one. Whatever you do to get this machine going, worm gear, new planetary gear box, or something different, Im sure I will enjoy watching it 😊

I think you may want to make a slot instead of a flat plate where the wood can fall straight down just after it cuts so it can't get pinched in the chute as the cut piece is forced out the back. If you have a slot it gets cut and falls straight down and away from the cutter each time. I saw a few pieces go sideways and get cut a second time part way. Great job. Enjoyed watching the build.

Bym chętnie dał zlecenie komuś kto by wykonał rębak z dużą "wsadem". Nóż też gdyby był dłuższy, np 40-50 cm to by robił myślę fajnie robotę. Nie chodzi mi o średnicę ciętych gałęzi, bo do 10 cm to byłby max. Grubsze gałęzie i tak tnę piłą spalinową.
@keksiu351
@keksiu351 4 ай бұрын

Have you looked into- contacting a small machine/tool company about them sending you some new machines (ones that you otherwise wouldn't be able to afford on your own, like a CNC or a Lathe... but I'm thinking mainly a CNC) in exchange for a few Ad spots on your channel??? You do have OVER 1.25 MILLION subscribers, so companies are more than willing to send you9 their equipment so that their name gets heard but 10's or even 100's of thousands of people. KZbin channels much smaller than yours do deals like this ALL THE TIME!!! Just yesterday I watched the newest vid from Not An Engineer and a company sent him a CNC for an AD read, and he doesn't even have 190k subs!! So you will DEFINITELY find a company that will do this! (that's IF you are interest in owning a CNC... or some other big machine you wouldn't otherwise be able to afford without a big bank load or something) And all he did was send the company an email (I'm not sure which company it was tho, or who he emailed in the company... I would think it would be the head of Marketing maybe 🤷‍♂) And asked them if they send youtubers their machines in exchange for an honest review... and they said yes they do. So i REALLY think you would have NO PROBLEM in having this happen, no problems at all. Well, except maybe that you have an accent.... so you WILL have to work on pronouncing your English with less of an accent, just because you will have to do some narration in the ad reads..... OR you could do something different like making the ad into a funny/comedy type of ad, and having a girl hold up a large piece of white cardboard with the narration written on it... and use some comedy like "accidentally" holding the board upside down... oh oh, along with showing the boards with the narration, YOU could be reading the narration out loud and the signs she is holding is acknowledging that you have a thick Polish accent, which it perfectly fine.. ( in America we are always hearing accents from all over the world, but when people actually know English but just have a thick accent, it still makes us happy that they know what they're saying in English... they put in a LOT of effort to learn English ) and when the girl "accidentally" holds the sign upside down, you would play that part of your voice narration IN REVERSE, but then just before she would be switching to the next sign, she realizes it backwards and flips, and then you voice switches to talking normally LOL (I know it's not really 'comedy' I'm just trying to give you some ideas for a unique ad read.... and this is IMPORTANT if you think you will ever want to do an sponsored video for another company because they will look at how you did the sponsored videos before that... so you REALLY want to make a great, high quality ad read video because other company WILL WANT TO work with you in the future :) OR... if you REALLY wanted to I could do the NARRATION for you (for Free of course... because I REALLY want to show some love and support to your channel because I've actually LEARNED ALOT just by watching you make stuff! and seeing you go from that very small tool shed to what is now a FULL MACHINE SHOP has actually brought me SO MUCH JOY just by watching you grow from what seemed like just a small hobby to you doing WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO, EVERY DAY!!! So I REALLY would want to give something back for all that you have given me.... but money is just something I DO NOT have very much of... I'm unemployed, living in my mother and fathers home while I take care of my senile, bedridden mother and also all that goes along with keeping a house running because my father is on Oxygen and can't even walk to the bathroom without having to take a break and catch his breath :( - So with zero income coming in, my needs are met, but I don't have the luxury buying things that aren't a necessity :/ ) So anyway, I would do the narration if you want a native English speaker for the ad (I have a pretty nice microphone and I went to technical school for sound production, so I know how to use a really large professional recording studio, so I'm sure I could figure out how to do a video narration lol :D ) ... I don't expect you to want me to do it, but UI wanted to put the offe3r out there just in case. I just wanna do whatever I can to help your channel grow and make it continue to be as awesome as it already is, IF NOT MORE AWESOMEERRRRRR!!!!!!! lmao I hope this all works out... IF you're looking to get some new toys... err I mean new TOOLS lol ;) Let me know if I can help in any way :D

You would be perfect to do the narration on your ad, IDK why I thought your accent was super thick... but it's not..
