Bottom of the feet is NOT a good place to try a spray tan on. That part, along with our palms, are probably the two parts of the body that tan way too easy with fake tans, it’s actually annoying. The chest is a good area, since it’s difficult for the product to catch on, and then maybe the legs below knee.

I managed a tanning salon for 4 years. We had the whitest people come in, asking for a double layer of our darkest color for our custom spray tans. The end results were great. They looked healthier, more toned, whiter teeth. This notion that you cannot choose to be as dark as you want to be is ridiculous. Most people don’t do it to mock a black person, they do it to look as beautiful as they can, and in their eyes, the tanner the better. I think Ethan should have gone all out, but only when the time is more appropriate. (Not expecting a baby within the period of his resulting tan). The only issue with going too dark, is the period of fading. It will come off on patches if you are not exfoliating appropriately before AND after the treatment. Peace and love ❤

Tanner is a more semi-permanent thing, you usually apply it to your whole body like lotion (or a specific part if you ended up with a weird tan from the sun) to look darker overall and it’ll last for a few weeks; bronzer, on the other hand, is a type of makeup that you’ll use to target a specific area (usually for contouring) and then wash off at the end of the day!

Legal perspective here- theres a thing called detrimental reliance in contract law. Enforceable contracts can be made over text or even just by in person or phone conversation. If he took this to court- he could claim damages by saying he detrimentally relied on Mikayla after she made a promise to him. It could go either way. Depends on if the court finds the reliance reasonable. Was taking out 10K in anticipation reasonable? Could he have reasonably assumed she would do the ad? idk I think he has a good case but again- could go either way depending on the judge.

Though promissory estople does technically exist as a legal doctrine that can in theory technically replace consideration in contract law, it is old school and does not even remotely apply to this situation. If he wanted a contract, he would have paid her consideration. If he wanted to claim PE, he'd need evidence of her telling him to take the loan out. Him obsessing over her TikToks that aren't even about him as what we in the law biz call "nothing".

I’ve only seen white people use the darkest shade, and I’m being dead serious. I, as a brown person bought a “medium” and it didn’t show up at all…I think they know this when they make it and sometimes only the darkest color even works. I’ve seen pastiest of pasty british women be like “I needed to get the darkest tan.” and that’s all I’ve seen, they never pick light or medium…😅🥴 If you don’t believe me one of these comments on here starts with “I used to own a tanning salon and every day white people came in for 2x of our darkest tan.” lolol it is verrrrry common. Also most people who fake tan are white even tho black/brown people tan it’s majority ytpp who are in the market for it, probably because we can easily naturally tan.
