You definitely deserve 500+ subs mate this is great! Love that model too! Wish they sold it individually.

This is a really interesting approach to doing terrain (using actual dirt and mulch from outside). I'm working on a diorama right now set in a very similar environment but going about it differently. I hope the result is this convincing. Great job!

Thanks! yeah, I was always quite hesitant about using organic materials in my projects but saw a few other people do it and I couldn't be happier with the results. I think it would be interesting to try different types of dirt and mulch to see how it affects the look.

Nice work bud! You've earned another new subscriber. I liked your earth texture technique, it's not one I've seen used exactly like that before. As for painting sand, a pretty basic technique that works for me is: basecoat, wash, light drybrush of a lighter colour. Seem to do the trick just fine. Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing what you do in future and good luck with channel growth 🙂

I have no idea if what you are doing is correct, but it looks so professionally, good camera angles, explanation etc that I was like: this dude must be 250-300k subs. Then I realized you are not even 400 :(. I added my little brick to your hard work and I gotta tell you, keep doing what you doing (maybe skip those movie clips add-ons?) and you will surely rise. You did everything in 100%: the video, scene cuts, explanation, describtion in youtube and ads - as I found this video easily. Keep up your passion.

Something that will give your diorama some more life is If your picture where the source of light will be e.g the sun or the moon or a light, and paint the models and the landscape to how the light would hit them. Its a small thing and can be hard to do but I think you could pull it off and it would bring it more to life :) would fix the problem u had with the wolf “looking like stone”. U did a great job tho keep it up :)

Man I love this! Looks so fantastic! Quick question: Why do you fry your dirt? :D Is it to like idk kill potential bugs or smth?
@Themodelman Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I mainly do it for two reasons, firstly like you guessed to get rid of any bacteria and prevent future mold but most importantly to get rid of all of the moisture so it's easy to spread / glue to the Diorama. Hope this helps!

Very nice diorama! Though i would recommend using something like modeling compound for patching holes between the rocks than milliput(i think its cheaper, especially if you make it yourself), second thing, i would use a wash on metalics, it gives reaaallllyyy nice depth to everything. i would suggest GW nuln oil. Hope this helps you, and i hope i will see more awesome duoramas =D

Why doesn't no one - even GW itself want to make a diorama inspired by 300 (Spartans)? The Warhammer has everything that was shown in the movie.
