This video is so inspiring. Let this be a lesson to everyone. uThermal retired from pro scene 10 years ago and became a content creator because he enjoyed it, and that's why we love him, because he's authentic. Now he's here playing Clem (who is also a treasure to the community) in a tournament TvT [no spoilers]. This is some of the greatest sc2 content in the world, and one of my favorite things to watch in general. What a beautiful story of esports. This is my super bowl, world cup, whatever...I'm american and this is the only sport that matters to me.

I felt like I was watching one of the old GomTvT finals. -Also side note: totally love your videos of tournament not being a "specific" challenge, but more just letting us know your general strategic plan and then if possible saying your tactical goals as you make moves. In fact for tournaments I prefer you just going all out instead of trying to get pidgeonholed into a specific strat or unit comp

Let's go!!! Dude insane game 1 against Clem! How can you play and commentate at the same time? Just casually playing against #1 Terran with some meta-challenge like you have to go BC? Just bonkers. The strategy and unit composition, attack angle, etc. was so interesting to see you work through. I don't see a lot of TvT and this was a level I'd never seen before. So hype, great games uThermal! Love to see you play your challenges and also play "seriously"; i.e no challenges or whatever. You really make each game unique either way.

i haven't seen an old school tank-viking play in a while. WTG Clem. Things have probably changed a lot since WoL but once he has more vikings and controls the air, it is kind of over. From there he just uses vikings for vision and leap frogs tanks. I'm at 39:00 btw.

Ok, I have a question... Why is it, when you're building your Barracks (always when you build your first one) do you select an Engineering Bay first??? My theory is that the hotkey for it is the same, but with a secondary key. (eg. you press E for a Eng Bay, but E+Shift for a Barracks) (Not saying that is how you've bound it, it's just an example of what I'm guessing the reason is) Also, amazing games! GG for sure!!

He explained it in an earlier video. Since the engi bay is cheaper, he selects it before he can afford the barracks to make sure he will place the barracks in the correct spot once he has the cash for it.

If I remember correctly, he one time said, that the Thor splash damage is so low, that it's never a good option. But I'm not 100% sure.
