I Made BRAND NEW Yoshis in Woolly World 3DS!

Did you know that Poochy and Yoshi’s Woolly World for Nintendo 3DS featured a Yoshi design maker that didn’t exist in the original Wii U release? Let’s take advantage of that. I made over a dozen new Yoshi designs based on fan favorite video game characters, and I just wanted to show them off!

Dunno how seeing a Shantae Yoshi caught me off guard, but when I saw the purple in that part, I was fully expecting Spyro. lol

24:15 I was going to say the Banjo Yoshi design is the best one you made (Or the Shantae Yoshi design if you imagine a paper bag over its head and only see the body.) but nope..... that "Where's that damn fourth Chaos Emerald?" Yoshi design is the best one hands down.

Had this game on the shelf for ages, and only just now popped it in to make my wonderfully cursed attempt at a Ballora Yoshi while watching. Need to see more custom Yoshi content, this got the creativity flowing better than anything I’ve seen in a long while.

love this. Creativity withing a tight restriction is always my favourite form of art. Really gives people who don't have the time to sink thousands of hours to make a perfect real-life self-portrait, the chance to show that part of them inside that wants to express what they love. Wonderful vid to watch, really made my day and got me thinking of designs. Thanks for sharing. I love your metroid dread one the best for true to the design, and banjo and scorpion for making me WISH they put yoshi in mortal kombat. OMG, I would main him even it was the worst character in the game by every standard.

The best thing about Yoshi's Woolly World is using the amiibo to play 2 Yoshis at once like some Ice Climbers. So much fun.

I wish that wooly yoshi can get a new adventure in the future. He seems to change form each game lol so it would be nice to see wooly yoshi along with new patterns to collect

I remember playing the 3DS version of Wooly World religiously. I tried the character designer and made Mr. Patch from Banjo Tooie. It actually looked pretty good. Fun times.

Yoshi’s whole world is my favourite video game of all time. Judge me if you want it has nostalgia and I replayed it all the time it’s such a good game.

Sometimes you'd be surprised how little you need to immitate a character. Sometimes all you need is iconic colors and the right placement. Limitation breeds creativity as they say.

Gotta love💕 all these awesome designs. My personal favorite designs that I’ve made are Bowser Yoshi, Fawful Yoshi, and a Yoshi based on Jack Spicer from an obscure Warner Brothers show called Xiaolin Showdown. The only thing note worthy about the design process was Fawful Yoshi because I wanted to invoke Fawful’s appearance in every Mario and Luigi game, so I made the scales on the back of Yoshi’s head dark blue for some Dark Fawful representation and made the nose grassy green to represent Fawful’s green vacuum helmet from Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga. I also felt like dubbing him Fawful Yoshi was wasn’t creative enough so I named him “YoshiThinkRato” (I frankly don’t remember why I added the o at the end). As far as catchphrases go: Bowser says “SHOWTIME”, Fawful Yoshi says “I have chortles!” and I wanted Jack Spicer to say “All I can say is JACK SPICER HAS ARRIVED” but I couldn’t fit the whole thing.

We need a full on switch rerelease of Yoshi's Wooly World, that way we can get an official Big man yarn yoshi skin. Also I want to play as the yarn marie yoshi again.

The video has great potential and seems very interesting with Yoshi having so many different color palettes based on different characters. Still, I got more annoyed by the many times Smash Bros. was mentioned, which the video's concept has nothing to do with. I'm sick of hearing about SSB!
