TSR is a good game but the soundtrack is what really takes that good game and makes it into legendary territory, it has such a cool ost imo

The switch version of tsr had the opening animation removed to save space on the cartridge

Sonic speed sim on switch would be straight up impossible, it runs horribly on anything but PC. Even on my Xbox series x and red magic phone that game is jacked

24:46 Actually Sonic Generations runs at 31.5fps and SEGA has still not addressed that for some reason, neither by setting it to proper 30 nor 60. A modded Switch can run the game at 60fps docked, but the resolution has to be set to 720p instead of 1080p.

Superstars was SO close to being something special. Finally a sonic with 3d graphics thst has strong level design and physics...but the bosses ruin the whole thing

Sonic origins different music is such a non issue. First of all ice cap, carnival and launch base were the weakest tracks in the game so who cares. Secondly what replaced it was ache original prototype music before MJ got involved and was only ever heard on the original pc version and the 2011 movile version so this provided longtime sonic fans a different way to experience the game.

Idk if never played og colours and was excited to see it return..got it for switch to save money soni could give it to my brother's kids after...it was well after everything was patched and I didn't even bother doing the 2nd zone...so bad lol

Even as far back as brawl, sonics moveser was pretty bad. Not on terms of effectiveness, but what he actually does..he's got so many options from the adventure series alone yet all he does is different types of spin dashes lol..visually uninteresting.

The switches legacy isn’t really over yet as we will be getting sonic racing crossworlds at some point next year. Also, Ilzuka has already said that even after the switch 2 comes out, they will still release sonic games on the switch 1.

(21:20) i actually never care about the graphics on the Nintendo switch the only thing that matters is to have a game and have fun with it and I got a lot of game on my switch that are those games with a lot of graphics like dragon ball kakarot sonic frontiers sonic x shadow generations teams sonic racing and…let’s just say that I have almost all the games that have good graphics on a ps5 or an Xbox x/s but I have a damn good time with those games

I just played through most of the series this year, and did it on Switch for the most part. (Everything I could get on Switch I did, Everything else was Steam or OG system) I feel like alot of Sonic representation on Switch isn't the best... but it just FELT right. I don't know how to explain it. I knew that I was playing inferior versions most of the time, but I just didn't care. I love my Switch, and that's my preferred Sonic platform.

Something about the SEGA AGES version of Sonic 1 that wasn’t brought up in this video is that it has the Mega Play version of the game, originally for arcades. To my knowledge, I don’t think that version has been re-released before or since SEGA AGES Sonic 1.

If they cut out some of these zones, like that desert zone, and reworked the god-awful boss battles, I would have liked Sonic Superstars a lot more. But as it stands, I took that SOB right to the pawn shop. Sonic Superstars just did not respect my time

6:51 this is the main reason why I can't bring myself to play any of the Mega Man legacy collections on Nintendo Switch...outside of Zero and ZX. Nearly all of these collections suffer from input lag, and I hate it! And that goes double for the Street Fighter anniversary collection! ...online, anyway

I'm with you on that one, Ant. I never cared for encore mode. Especially since I don't have the patience to find the new locations for the special stage rings, and when I do find one, the special stages are that much harder! That's a bigger difficulty spike than Mario 1 into lost levels! Thanks, but no thanks.

So... I heard him mention Cosmic Shake. Question for all, is it a game that can be enjoyed by someone who played SpongeBob the Movie The Game as their first and main SpongeBob game?

"Open world doesn't do well on switch" ...how was he able to say that with a straight face when we have several examples that prove otherwise... yes I know the examples I'm thinking of are likely the things that are handled by Monolith/Nintendo or other BIG name Devs but still we DID get some great Open world games!

One of the big things I loved about Shadow Generations is that the levels ACTAULLY felt like you could explore and take in the environment as well plan your route! You DON'T HAVE TO ALWAYS BOOST and I love that! Shadow has enough speed to him normally that the game doesn't feel like a slog and the times were you DO boost (like when trying to get collectables, S Ranks, or just wanting to speed through the levels/area) ACTUALLY feel good! Honestly my main issue with the game was that 1 or 2 of the Doom Skills felt like a bit of a pain to use but that's about it.

I don't really vibe with Tokyo 2020 Olympics' story mode because it's just waaaaay too diolouge heavy I swear I spent more time reading than actual gameplay
