Hey, this is really great! I'm a giant fan of the arcade game and own the cabinet, and wondered what this would look like in VR, and I think you nailed it. I've given some consideration to what a reimagined VR version what look like, where the basic gameplay is kept. I think you could keep the basic concepts, including the jumping and hammers, if the girder level were stretched out like in front of you, like Beat Saber, where the player is moving toward Donkey Kong, as opposed to climbing vertically. Seriously man, you did a great job with the planning and execution, and the video was a lot of fun to watch. Nice work!

One small detail you missed with the scoring-the player actually gets 800 points for jumping over 3 barrels at once. This is easy to miss, however, as groups of 3 barrels clumped together rarely occur unless you can somehow trick them into rolling down ladders in a specific way.
